Awesome villa in magnificent setting.

We have just returned from the villa and we enjoyed every minute of our holiday. The villa exceeded all of our expectations and it seemed as though no detail had been overlooked. We spent a lot of time in the pool which is one of the largest we've ever had. The use of the e-bikes is such a great touch as there are many quiet country roads and trails around. Erik is the ultimate host who we can't praise enough, from his kind offer of early check in/late check out to considerate communications. I would recommend this villa to anyone!

Fantastisch

Beautiful location

We spent 5 fabulous nights at this location. The location was quiet, close to local town for groceries, comfortable beds, in room air conditioning everything we need for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor space is amazing!

Nice house - great garden/pool area!

Overall it's a really nice home! It has a lot of charm and it's very clean. The pool area and the cactus garden are VERY nice !! The owner and manager are very quick to respond to requests. There's many amenities that we appreciated: ping pong table, bikes et basketball ring. The only thing that refrains us from giving it a 5* all around is the kitchen ( a bit dated) and the cooking heat sources. Neither the gaz stove top, the mini oven nor the outside grill were easy/efficient to use. But would definitely recommend if you don't feel like cooking much :-) The other ting to consider, for people with reduce mobility, there are many stairs in the house.

Relaxing in the Puglian countryside

We had a great time staying in San Vito. Perfect place to relax by the pool or go exploring the amazing countryside. We took trips to Matera, Ostuni, Lecce and visited Monopoli on our way to our next stop. Lovely pool area with several sitting areas. Soacious interior with a well equipped kitchen. Erik was great to communicate with before and during our stay and left some welcoming treats for us. Wish we could have stayed longer as feel we only scratched the surface of Puglia!

A perfect Italian escape

From the moment we arrived, till the moment we left, this was the perfect getaway. Our flight wasn’t due into Brindisi until late and Eric helped us hire a car in advance which was waiting for us at arrivals. Only a short drive from the airport and we arrived at the villa where we were greeted with a welcome card and bottle of wine which was much appreciated. We’d already had a welcome pack emailed to us so we knew exactly how to get into the property and how to find everything. The bedrooms are cool with the air conditioning and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. There is a shower upstairs and a bath downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped. The entire place was spotlessly clean. The pool and surrounding area with loungers is perfect with plenty of seating areas and parasols if you needed to get shade from the sun. Eric was quick to respond to any WhatsApp messages we sent and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. Our favourite restaurant in the area was a 10 minute bike ride away called Ristolio - one to try for definite. Amazing food in the most beautiful outdoor setting under the olive trees. I can’t fault this place at all. If you’re looking for a family sized villa in a great location to explore the area then look no further. Just make sure you have a car!! Great places to visit are Lecce, Ostuni, Locorotondo, and our personal favourite Alberobello.

Lovely villa, great size pool

Lovely property in quiet road of other villas but completely private. Great pool that is a really good size so you can have a decent swim. Possible to walk to town if you wish but a car is definitely required generally. Great base to explore the area. Hosts very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Holiday

Excellent Villa, it is in a great location with the wonderful town of San Vito only 30 minutes walk. The Villa is very well equipped with all you need for your stay. We spent 8 weeks here and loved it. The e-bikes were fantastic fun and enabled us to discover the local area. The outside of the Villa has so many areas to enjoy the sun and the pool. Beautiful place for a holiday.

Beautiful villa with fantastic pool

We have rented several villas in Italy. This one was beautifully decorated and had the most comfy beds of any villa we have stayed in. The pool was wonderful, and we really appreciated the outdoor furniture and sturdy sun loungers which all had new cushions. The villa was a real home from home and had everything you could possibly need. It was very private but only a short drive from supermarkets. The villa is ideally situated as a base for exploring beautiful Puglia. Every village and town in the area has a pretty historic centre so don't just visit places mentioned in the guide books! I highly recommend the villa and hope to return!

dream house in Italy

i would like to thank my host and make my recommendation about San Vito dei Normann. we have spoken to Eric prior to our arrival and he was super nice, gave us direction and help us to get to the villa. the house is very clean and well maintained with a terrific view and a great swimming pool that we enjoyed a lot. there is also a very relaxed vibe to the house which was very nice and cosy for us. Eric also gave us great recommendations about the surrendind of the house. thank U Eric!. i recomend to anyone to go and stay in this magical house. thanks a lot! Vered and Zvika

Villa Puglia Sogno

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Het inchecken via een sleutelkluis 👌 en een heerlijk schoon huis. Het terras met heerlijke stoelen en perfecte kussens en natuurlijk het XL zwembad! Ook binnen is het huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt een aanrader in centraal Puglia op 20 min van het vliegveld.

Great choice to enjoy Puglia summer

This lovely house is fully equipped to enjoy the hot days of Puglia in July. The pool in large grounds with lots of places to relax, but also table tennis and bikes if you want to be more energetic. Temptation is not to move from the house, but there are lots of interesting places to visit within an hour’s drive, as well as San Vito itself - which we found to be a friendly, lively and authentic town. We found it worked well to mix visits with plenty of time enjoying all the property offers. Eric was very helpful, responding promptly when we had a problem with the water supply. We appreciated the generous supplies provided so you don’t have to rush out to the supermarket immediately.

Wonderful villa and pool made fantastic Puglia even better!

The villa is great and we couldn’t keep out of the fantastic pool. It was great to be able to swim laps in a villa pool! Jackie is an amazing host and went out of her way to be helpful. The region is beautiful and the villa is a great location for exploring.

Parfait séjour dans cette belle maison

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette belle maison La piscine est incroyable. On peut y faire des longueurs sans problème. Jackie est adorable et fait tout pour rendre notre séjour parfait. La maison est une base idéale pour visiter la région Nous sommes vraiment heureux de nos vacances et d’avoir rencontré Jackie.

Fabulous host and property

We have just spent a great 8 days in this fabulous property. We were greeted by Jackie who was a perfect host throughout our stay. She was always on hand with recommendations and showed us around the vicinity when we arrived. The pool area was superb, larger than many hotel pools that we have encountered and very spacious for our family of 4. Highly recommended

In August in Puglia, its all about the outside

This property has a really great outdoors. The pool is the prime focus - bigger than usual and surrounded in a variety of lovely seating areas. Good BBQ area. Bedrooms were good with efficient Air Con. Kitchen was adequately equipped for simple meals. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. She was also so helpful with top tips on local shops (notably wine!) and places to visit. The nearby town of San Vito had all the amenities you need (good supermarket), but was not drop-dead gorgeous. We had a really great time. I would recommend this rental. P.S. I would say car hire is essential - the walk into town was beyond me! Parking there was easy.

Rustic Italy

We had a lovely week staying at Jackie, Vincenza and Grace's villa. They were very attentive hosts and dealt with accommodation problems quickly. The pool is a delight although unfortunately, the weather wasn't. However, if you want to experience the real Italy as it was before tourists invaded this is the place to go. Eating out is cheap and the visit to the wine shop with Jackie set us up for the week. One piece of advice take lots of mosquito repellent as we were covered in bites. Lovely rustic Italy would definitely recommend.

A beautiful Country House Villa

A wonderful holiday in this beautiful country house villa. The villa was very comfortable and spacious for our party of 6. The pool and outdoor area is beautiful - great for swimming and a few yoga sessions! The owners are very friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat. They also helped arrange additional car hire for us whilst we were there - even picking us up and taking us to collect the car! Car hire is essential - it's easy to drive the short distance to the outskirts of San Vito and walk in to the town centre. There is easy access to supermarkets and a great bakery for bread, pizza, croissants and pastries! Our favorite place to eat and wander was Ostuni- a whitewashed hilltop town - it has a real 'buzz' in the evenings. A wonderful relaxing holiday -thank you Jackie, Vincenzo and Grace.

Totale Enttäuschung

Der Kontakt mit Jacquelyn war vor der Ankunft unkompliziert und nett. Dann leider die herbe Enttäuschung. Immobilie war schmutzig, roch sehr modrig, Motten in Schränken, Schimmelpilz in der Küche (ich solle doch einfach das verschimmelte Schneidebrett nicht benutzen laut Jacquelyn!!). In die Toilette im unteren Bad darf kein Toilettenpapier geworfen werden, man sollte das Papier in den Mülleimer werfen, sonst verstopfe das Klo....Das Bad im 1. Stock hat keine Tür zum Schlafzimmer und ist auch nur von 1 Schlafzimmer zu betreten. Toiletten vermutlich seit Wochen nicht geputzt, eklig. Das Schwimmbad ist schön gross, viele Liegen am Pool, aber nicht 1 Schirm vorhanden. Das hält keiner aus in der Sonne. Das schlimmste war aber der Dreck, Gläser auch dreckig, stand noch eine benutzte Tasse bei Ankunft in der Spüle, Wasserkocher völlig verkalkt. Schränke teils ekelig. Das geht alles gar nicht für den Preis !!! Absolute Frechheit. Jacquelyn bot uns an, dass nochmals geputzt wird. Wir sind aber 2 Stunden nach Ankunft wieder abgereist. Die von Jacquelyn versprochene Rückzahlung wurde natürlich 1 Tag später widerrufen. Das Geld ist weg.

Wonderful villa!

We had such a lovely stay. The pool and surrounding area is so relaxing and beautifully laid out. Jackie is a fantastic host - always available if needed but discreet and sensitive to your privacy. We spent most of the time swimming, sunbathing and generally relaxing but visited Ostuni and Gallipoli which are both well worth a visit. Thank you Jackie for a wonderful holiday!

Magnificent Villa and Pool, Lovely vacation

The photos do not do this villa justice, they can't capture the incredible ambiance we felt. The villa is absolutely enchanting, you feel all the personal touches as the owner restored the villa himself. The pool was huge, larger then most hotels we've stayed in. The banana trees and surround the pool and we felt as if we were on a tropical island. It was quiet and peaceful, we even saw shooting stars. It was nice being able to walk into town at night and we perfectly safe as there were streetlights all the was to the gate of the villa. San Vito offered a lively nightlife and great local cuisine. We were shocked at how inexpensive it was. It was a great location to travel around pugilia, the had easy access to the highway and it was very easy to find the villa. We never got lost!! For a family of 6, we all have space to spread out and relax. The villa had all the modern comforts and we felt truly at home. It was our most memorable family vacation. The owners made everything so easy for us and we're very helpful. Thanks for a lovely vacation Browne family

We are a Dutch couple with two adult-sons, that have just acquired this great property for our own use and for a few rentals per year (just to cover the cost, we are not about exploiting the property to the max).

We modernised it completely (feb22) , with new interior , furniture, beds, etc. and are still making more improvements to make it even nicer.

Why they chose this property

Location, Location, Location..... its close enough to walk to town but it feels secluded and private because its on a dead end road with no thru traffic. You can reach the beaches and highway access in 7 km and town is 1.5km to the main road.

What makes this property unique

You have all the comfort and privacy you wish for to stay at the casa, but you are close enough to all nice places, towns, beaches that Puglia has to offer.
