Situated just on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, is this beautifully presented property complete with a hot tub.. 2 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 3: Kingsize (5ft) Bed. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, towels, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack.. Garden with gas BBQ. Bike store. Electric vehicle charging point, at cost. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a river nearby.. Bridge House has a beautiful position next to a river which winds its way around the garden. Follow the riverside walk, past a waterfall into a 200-acre wood taking in the peaceful surroundings. The enclosed garden is a hidden treasure with a welcoming hot tub awaiting you in its own purpose built shelter so you can relax in the bubbles whatever the weather. There is also a barbecue and seating area on the decking for sunny days, listening to the babbling river and the wild birds singing.
Inside, the owners have put their hearts into completely renovating and restoring this 150 year old property, including personal touches to ensure you have a comfortable and memorable stay. The living area is spacious and bright with the perfect social space. Around the wood burner are two reclining sofas, perfect for unwinding in an evening. In the centre of the room is a dining table, where you can share dinner and a bottle of wine or two as you wind down, planning your activities for the days ahead. The kitchen is modern and well equipped ready for you to create meals to delight the rest of your party. The kitchen door leads out into the garden with the hot tub. There is a ground floor rainforest shower, so that you can have a refreshing shower before or after your dip.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, a kingsize and a twin, and a bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. Up on the second floor is a kingsize bedroom under the eaves, with a Velux window so you can look up into the stars.
This area is great for explorers, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. The glorious Yorkshire coast is within 2 miles away. Starting with Skinningrove, a peaceful beautiful beach, which is great for fossil hunting; further along the coast is gorgeous Runswick Bay, picturesque Staithes, the surfers’ paradise of Saltburn and the historic seafaring town of Whitby with its long golden beach stretching to Sandsend. For walkers there are walking trails across the national park, including the Cleveland Way along the cliff tops or Roseberry Topping which offers stunning panoramic views. If you are fascinated by history visit Guisborough Priory and Whitby Abbey, as well as museums including Staithes Heritage Museum, Whitby’s Captain Cook Museum and Hutton le Holes Folk Museum.
On the moors there are many pretty rural villages to visit, or why not enjoy a trip on the steam train to take in the scenery. For the adventurous there are water sports including white water rafting, sailing and paddle boarding at Tees Barrage and Scaling Dam, as well as surf schools in Saltburn, Sandsend and Whitby. In Dalby forest you can zip wire through the tree tops. For younger children Flamingo Land theme park and zoo is less than an hour away. Bridge House is the perfect choice for those looking for somewhere extra special. Beach 1½ miles. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant 2 miles.
