There is a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside, there is a private garden with seating and access to the shared castle grounds, while off-road parking is available. South Lodge is a lovely rustic abode settled among historic grounds on the outskirts of Forres town.

Amenities: Night storage heaters and woodburning stove. Oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available. Off-road parking. Electric vehicle charging points on-site in the main castle car park. Private garden with seating and access to the shared castle grounds. Well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 0.7 miles. Note: If you would prefer a gardener did not tend to the garden during your stay, please would you be kind enough to let a member of staff at Brodie Castle know. Note: Logs for the fire are not provided but can be bought at local stores. Note: If you are bringing your dog on holiday, please bring a lead, basket and your dog’s bowls, please note that dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture. You may like to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws.
