Lovely holiday
Lovely peaceful stay in this well equipped cottage. Quite close to the village, where there are shops, pubs, eating places etc, it's a very pleasant stroll. Very enjoyable.

Very cold weather - cottage was cold at night too.
Nice location & site nicely set out. Cottage was also a good layout.
Disliked inconvenient way of getting electricity (via cards). Child was sleeping under cupboard where card had to be inserted, waking child.
Also, no one around, although I appreciate it was 1st week of January.

A very relaxing stay, nice & calm. Very good fishing.
We stayed in Swallow.it is a very spacious & cosy, beds are really good, had the best sleep I've had for a long while, with a level access shower in it & a bath too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My hubby went fishing most days & caught a lot, the biggest 1 was around 15/18lb. It's a well stocked lake & lived that my grandchildren were able to catch with the help of grandad (they only came for the day to fish with grandad). Shall definitely be back for a 3rd time.

Chestnuts Farm is a great place to stay, brilliant for families, great for fishing.
We've stayed here 3 times overall in a different cottage each time. Well equipped with the basics, bedding supplied, extras can be added. Dogs are allowed too. Small park for the kiddies, field available for football, tennis court for a small fee, feed the animals, fresh eggs for a small fee, fishing onsite. Laundry facilities available for a small fee. 15 minute drive from Skegness, just a great place to stay.

A lovely short break
The cottage was clean and had everything you need for your stay. The owner was welcoming and showed me around the cottage explaining where everything was. The only thing I would say is the entertainment barn really could do with an update, I would happily pay for the pool table and pingpong etc if it meant having everything we needed to play as half the balls on the pool table was missing a vending machine would be a great addition too. It didn't hinder our stay though, we would come back again!
Lovely cottage. Unfortunately, due to very cold weather setting in, it was cold at night. Out all day, so that didn't matter. Use of electric cards was strange and not always very convenient. Child asleep under cupboard where card meter was when electric card expired. Child woke up whilest we were trying to insert new card, so not ideal!Could see though, that it would be lovely in the summer at this location. convenientwas a bit

Fabulous place to stay
Stayed in Swallow cottage this time, it's our third week in the last year at Chestnuts. Used to visit when our children were small, they loved being on the farm and helping out. They are grown up now but my husband and I still like to visit, we love Burgh Le Marsh. The cottages are always spotless and Claire is always on hand if there is ever a problem. My husband loves to go fishing and we always take our dog Patch.
Fantastic place to stay.
