The staff are so friendly and the food was fantastic. At first glance the pods look small but when you see inside they are brilliantly spacious and warm. We loved the village and the pub!

Pleasant stay

Mid journey stop off, enjoyed the break, pleasant surroundings & the accommodation is very well thought out, bed was slightly uncomfortable due to being made up of a selection of cushions & we did have some trouble checking in as there wasn't anyone around but otherwise very good.

Cosy, clean and comfortable

Though compact, the pod was perfectly equipped, clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night, however would have been happy to stay longer as a base for visiting more of the lovely Cotswolds. Having a very welcoming foodie pub so close was a huge bonus too!

Cosy,clean and comfortable

The pod was compact, however beautifully designed with everything you need for a short stay. It supposedly sleeps four, maybe only for a family with two young children.

Glamping personified.

It was my first visit to the Norman Knight and it fitted the bill perfectly. The glamping pod was spotless, beautifully prepared and very comfortable. The pub itself is a very welcoming place, with super-helpful staff and exactly the right ambience.

We are a quintessentially traditional english pub. All our staff, led by Land Lady Amber and supported by Helen and along with the rest of the team are local and have first hand knowledge of the area. Our village neigbours love telling stories to our residents and there is always a warm welcome. Its never too much trouble if you need anything and can happily recommend local things to do and places to enjoy. Its your break, so whether you want to chill at the bar or be left to enjoy a quiet meal in a cosy corner, its your choice. Tips for the pods are make up your bed before heading to the pub, enjoy the surroundings, we have plenty of deckchairs and outdoor seating, relax and take time out from the real world. We've even been asked to tell the little ones there is no WiFi so you can really go back to basics with family time and a good old board game. We look forward to meeting you on your stay with us.
