Studio room stylishly furnished with a king size comfy bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, lounge area, fully equipped kitchenette and private outdoor space. Sofa bed can be made up upon request. Not pet friendly and located on the second floor.
Situated on the outskirts of Chedington village, our charming country pub is situated high in the chalk fields of West Dorset, and commands one of the finest views in the West Country. Surrounded by National Trust Land, the area is an unspoilt rural delight.

It’s the perfect place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with 6 modern and comfortable ensuite bedrooms which are set
back from the main pub building.

Conveniently located just off a main the road that links Crewkerne and Dorchester, the Inn is the ideal location for exploring the whole of the West Dorset area, from the picturesque coastal town of Lyme Regis to the famous Jurassic Coast line to Weymouth.

So, if you are searching for great pub food, great wine, great beer, historic culture, countryside walks or just a relaxing escape from reality you have landed on the right page.

The place enabled us to have a totally carefree couple of days.
The Self contained studio was ideal for our stay, beautifully quiet scenic location. Ideally positioned for the local towns. A pub that is still a pub. ,albeit one that serves good food and fabulous breakfast choices.

A great discovery for a stay in Dorset
Five nights, using Winyard's Gap Inn as the base for days out in the surrounding area. Self-catered on two evenings, ate in the pub on the other three. Dinner menu was varied enough to give us choice over the period of our stay, with the food of a consistently good standard. Time spent in the room was relaxing and comfortable. The single problem of a malfunctioning shower was fixed immediately (by Toby).

Lovely place to chill and take time out
Short 2 night stay. Staff were great, accommodation was lovely, private and very well equipped. But food is great anyway, so why cater for yourself? A coffee maker wouldn’t go a miss though. Stunning views in the outside garden. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas. Would we go again? Yes most definitely.

Good stay though the weather wasn't!
The kitchens excellent and the bed/living area were good. It would have been nice to have two comfortable chairs to sit on, and the table was treacherous with its holes and irregularities. The bathroom was nice but needed more space to put toiletries and no shelf or anything for soap/shampoo in bathroom (?broken). Minor points but I hope they would be quite easy to change and would make a lot of difference to guests in room 5.
