This early 1800’s farmhouse is now a family home with a warm welcome and home cooking. Period furnishing and thoughtful decoration create the charm of an old country home but with modern comforts. There is a large garden and off street parking.
A family bedroom has a double and a single bed with en-suite bathroom.
Tea/coffee making, hairdryer, trouser press, ironing facilities and digital TV are all available. Laundry by arrangement.
Continental or a home cooked Ulster breakfast is served in the dining room. Dinner or packed lunch by arrangement.
Situated about 1 mile from the World Heritage Site of Gracehill (Moravian Settlement) and 3 miles from the excellent shopping and market town of Ballymena. Local amenities include a Leisure Centre with swimming pool, historic sites, play parks and a multi-screen cinema. There are also facilities for fishing, boating, golfing and horse riding. The central location is ideal for trips to Slemish Mountain, Antrim Glens, River Bann, Belfast City and the Causeway Coast.
The B&B and Cottage are only a few hundred yards apart so the good variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and services nearby suit both properties. Even though a village; you will find a supermarket, hairdresser, chemist, gift shop, florist, Post Office, fish & chip takeaway, Chinese food takeaway, Indian Restaurant and takeaway, Cash Point, The Eagle Restaurant by Galgorm Castle Golf Course. Also in the Castle grounds is the wonderful Creative Gardens; garden centre, cafe/restaurant and gift shop.
