We purchased the farmhouse and barn in September 2016 and spent the winter refurbishing the properties. The barn apartment is now a stylish and luxurious holiday let sleeping four people in comfort. As a family we ran a 5 star, Gold award winning b&b in Dolgellau until March 2016 and thought we would try something different.
The local area around Pant Glas has some of the most beautiful scenery in Wales with mountains, rolling hills, rivers, lakes, dams and lush green valleys.
The local towns have weekly markets and are of historical and architectural interest with restaurants and cafes serving delicious food.
Pant Glas is on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park with attractions such as Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre, Bounce Below and zipwires at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Bethesda Zipwire, Surf Snowdonia, Snowdon Mountain Railway, numerous other steam railways and Portmeirion village to name but a few.
Aberdovey, the jewel of the Cardigan Bay coast, is just 30 min. away
In addition to all this there are many castles, gardens, historic buildings, theatres, museums, breweries and local agricultural shows.
