Fantastic find in a fab location

My husband and I stayed here for one night over a weekend whilst we were house hunting. Was a brilliant find, stunning, absolutely massive room, huge, lovely bathroom and such lovely hosts. So friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect for us, rural and peaceful but close to get to the main roads. Would highly recommended to anyone.

We had a lovely large room - very comfortable

A very rural location down pretty lane , good pub about a mile away in Kenn. We had the four poster ed with patio - sadly weather not good so did not have the benefit. GReat breakfast in this 1980s built house on a farm. Traditional decor, very clean and a trampoline in garden if you fancy it.

A beautiful location and a wonderful relaxing experience.

The peace and tranquility of the location and being able to come and go as we pleased made for such a relaxing time. Alison made us both feel so welcome and we enjoyed our breakfast chats with her. Rex the collie was so friendly and always came to our open patio doors with one of his toys ready to play. We loved having a cup of tea and sitting by the open patio doors watching the abundant wildlife in the fields. We enjoyed waking up to the early morning dawn chorus coming from the woods.

Beautiful quiet setting, spacious warm room, large outdoor garden to explore. Poor Wi-Fi signal

We stayed here for one night only. We had a four poster bed and the manager kindly put out a childs bed for our 4 year old son. There is a great local pub down the road that does quality food and is well worth a visit. My only criticism would be the intermittent Wi-Fi and the poor mobile phone reception. I know we are obsessed with our phones and i-pads nowadays but I did find this frustrating as I needed to send an important e-mail but I guess you have to accept it is a bit off the beaten track
