A lovely 2 bedroom cottage fully equipped with all modern conveniences. Kitchen/dining area and lounge as open plan living, bathroom with full size bath and shower over. Enclosed private garden and ample off street parking. Double bedroom and a twin room.

Minimum 2 night stay.
We extend a warm and friendly ‘Croeso’ (welcome) to our charming holiday cottages nestled on the side of Frenni Fawr, part of the ancient Preseli 'Bluestone' Hills in rustic, rural Pembrokeshire. Wernddofn is ideally located for exploring both coast and countryside. Boncath is close to the borders of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire giving access to an even wider choice of places to explore and enjoy.

The Stable (Y Stabl), The Dairy (Y Llaethyd) and The Parlour (Y Parlwr) at Wernddofn are three beautifully converted, Welsh stone barns with all the modern conveniences for comfortable living. All cottages are pet friendly, so the whole family can enjoy the holiday, for an additional charge of just £15 per four legged friend.

The Stable is a perfect 'Little Pembrokeshire Home' for families, couples or friends - the two bedrooms (sleeping up to 4) offer a double and 2 single beds. (A cot is available too)

The Dairy has 3 bedrooms (sleeping up to 6) - a king size bed and 2 singles upstairs with a family bathroom - a double room downstairs with a large en-suite wet room.

The Parlour is a perfect retreat for the lone traveller or for a couple - a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom.

The Stable is located on one side of our large courtyard with the Dairy and the Parlour (which are semi-detached) on the other. All have stunning views. There is plenty of parking space directly in front of each cottage. The Dairy has a gently sloping concrete path to the front door which is suitable for wheelchair access.

We offer stays from just 2 nights all year round in The Stable and The Parlour which means you can book any length of stay starting on any day! The Dairy is available for a minimum of 4 night stays all year round. (Occasional offers available for 2 nights)

If you have any other requirements, please ring to discuss them further.

Peace, comfort and much more await you at Wernddofn - we endeavour to exceed your expectations of a holiday cottage!

Peaceful & relaxing.
The cottages are spotlessly clean, comfortable & well furnished. All the little (but important) things for the guests are provided. Boncath is in a beautiful valley & the views are incredible. We slept really well & woke each day refreshed & ready to explore the area.

Fantastic countryside location!
We all had a very relaxing stay and very much enjoyed being in the cottage when we were not visiting friends and family. Kate and Martin were excellent hosts and very friendly and approachable when needed. We would have no hesitation in returning in the future!

Lovely cottage perfect if you've got dogs.
The cottage was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped and if you have dogs there is a fully enclosed garden and stairgates to keep your dogs downstairs. The bedrooms and bathroom are well equipped and well sized. A little difficult to find but the emailed directions were spot on.

Charming place to stay
We stayed for 3 nights as s short family break. We planned activities in the region each day. The Accomodation was perfect as a base with a good kitchen and all facilities needed. Basic provisions were also supplied and more special a plate of scones with strawberry jam; butter and clotted cream along with fresh fruit cake! The hosts were friendly and charming. All in all a beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful location and cottage, perfect for a family holiday.
Last minute change of plans from our usual caravan holiday (due to CV19) and couldn’t have been happier with the cottage and the location. We all desperately needed a break and it was also the first time away with our family dog. The cottage is beautiful and has literally everything needed to make it home from home for me, my husband, the kids and the dog. The garden has the most amazing view but it’s also secure so that our little dog could run around and have a fantastic holiday too!

Beautiful Cottage, Beautiful Location
We had a 2 night stay at the Stable cottage at Wernddofn. The accommodation was one of three at the site and it was absolutely beautiful. The Cottage has everything you may need for your stay and also has it's own private enclosed garden at the rear. (ideal if your take your four legged friends with you)The setting is surrounded by countryside with the sound of birdsong and sheep bleating happily in the distance. The host's Kate and Martin were very warm and welcoming.

A hidden gem
A wonderful long weekend break. Kate and Martin were very friendly and helpful. There was everything you could wish for as a party of 3 adults and a 2 year old + 2 small dogs. The freshly made bread, eggs, cake and milk was a lovely touch. The stable had ample space for the four of us with two double bedrooms and a big bathroom.

Short break
Overall happy with the whole experience Could not fault the owners, complimentary items on arrival that help us settle in. Knowledge of area All details needed for tv, boiler etc all available in property. Would happily stay again as it is, the cost is fair for what you get. However this is a great area to relax and would attract a higher rate to stay if the beds where a little comfier and luxurious. Also if there's an opportunity to have a hot tub over looking the beautiful views I think this is a must as its so relaxing a tranquil over looking the stunning views Thanks for our stay

Lovely stay
A lovely place to stay in beautiful surroundings dog friendly too. Kate the host was very nice leaving provisions on our arrival. The barn had everything we needed even down to a stair gate so the dogs couldn’t get up the stairs. We would definitely recommend the barn at Wernddofn.

Superb comfortable cottage
The cottage was clean, comfortable, in a beautiful, peaceful location, and had everything we could possibly have wanted. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay for longer as there is so much to see and do nearby.

Spotlessly clean and lovely rural location. Some nice touches in the accommodation such as milk, eggs and bread left for us as well as a bbq unit which we used one evening. Overall a great stay.

Martin and I are very happy to be able to welcome guests back to Wernddofn Cottages after the Covid lockdown. The cottages offer a wonderful opportunity to escape the everyday and surrounded by beautiful countryside, social distancing is not only effortless, but extremely pleasurable. To ensure the safety of all our guests we are implementing a policy whereby each cottage is left vacant for a minimum of three days before and after each booking. Unfortunately this does mean that during this time we are unable to accept bookings of less than five nights for the Dairy, and three for each of the other cottages, unless by special arrangement. If you do have any special requests please ring and we are more than happy to discuss them with you.
