Perfect tranquil cottage

Wonderful time with family in this 3 bedroom cottage in Danby. Perfect spot for visiting nearby attractions. Especially Brilliant with young children as plenty of walks and space near by for them to run about and plenty of wildlife to spot

Lovely and relaxing, a real home from home

Very friendly and helpful hosts and the cottage we stayed in was outstanding - comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped, every detail had been thought about. We will definitely be going back, hopefully later this year.

All the comforts of home in a stunning location.

It felt like a very comfortable well furnished home, with absolutely everything we needed. It is in a beautiful and quiet location, with dark starry nights, and moors hiking right outside the door. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. We slept very well and wished we could stay longer. Perfect.

Great location, great accommodation

Perhaps a little out of things for some, we found this quiet location to be perfect for our 5 day stay. There seem to be more cows than people in this valley, but there are very good valley and moorland walks and pubs to be found, plus the coast is only a short drive away. The excellent Moors National Park Centre is also close by. An excellent base from which we visited many places across the NP. We especially enjoyed the coastal walks and locations.

Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world

We spent a wonderful week in Bluebell Cottage at Church House Farm. I've been to the local area for the last 40 years, but this is the first time here. The accommodation is lovely, clean, bright very comfortable. We spent the week walking, cycling and enjoying the quiet and scenery of this part of the world.

Great base for exploring North York Moors

Comfortable and clean lodgings for one week while we visited family in Ainthorpe. Stocked up on breakfast foods at Co-op in Castleton and ate other meals out or with Grandma. Lots of day trips (Redcar to Scarborough, Danby to Pickering).

Such a peaceful relaxing place. Hosts Rachel & Rory are lovely, and v kind - they catered for my allergies, and sorted out secure storage for my bike when I wasn't using it (take a bike, it's a fabulous area for cycling - on and off road)

Wonderful accommodation in a great location

We loved our stay in Bluebell Cottage. Clean, spacious and really well equipped. Perfect accommodation. Great view of the North Yorkshire Moors and a nice garden to sit and take in the lovely view. Conveniently located to explore both the Moors and the coast. Really nice and helpful owners. Highly recommended.

We were rambling on our all-terrain scooters with Disabled Ramblers on the North York Moors.

We had a lovely week rambling on our all-terrain scooters on the North York Moors and knowing that we were going back to our lovely little cottage at Church House Farm made all the difference after a long and tiring day. A lovely location and would definitely go there again.

Great Mini Break

This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed at Church House Farm. Again the stay was as perfect as it could be. Rachel and Rory are great hosts. They are there if you need anything but leave you in peace. The cottage had everything that we needed.

Lovely cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside

Went on lots of walks in the areas such as Glaisdale, Goathland, Danby itself. Not far from coastal areas and other Yorkshire towns. Despite the bad weather forecast we had great weather. Advice: don't always listen to the forecast!

Rachel and Rory are amazing host's, the cottages are immaculate and spotlessly clean

A beautiful place to stay in breathtaking surroundings in the North Yorkshire moors. Its an amazing place to unwind and relax, the only sounds you hear are cow's and sheep. No light pollution gives you a fantastic night sky when clear. You are most certainly guaranteed a good night's rest with all the fresh air. Everything is catered for, you want for nothing in the cottages other than food and drink. We've been several times to Church House and each time gets better. We'll worth a visit

Excellent property in lovely setting

We recently stayed in 3 of the 4 cottages as a family as we were attending a family wedding close by. All 3 cottages were well equipped for our week long stay with local amenities within 2/3 miles. It helped we had great weather, but this place fit the bill for us. Highly recommend

A fabulous place to stay in a beautiful location with excellent hosts in Rachel & Rory

The cottage (Bluebell Cottage) is very spacious and very well equipped and has wonderful views across the valley. The location is excellent for either local walks, local pubs or trips to the many lovely places to visit around the North York's moors.
