Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, convenient location.

We recently stayed at the King's Head for a short break to meet friends, and explore Rye and the surrounding area. The hotel was very convenient to walk into Rye, with local footpaths to explore.

Stayed two time so must be good.

Nice accommodation, great pub food and beer. Only thing is if you want to watch the TV in the rooms bring your binoculars as the tv's are so tiny.

Nice pub, tired room

The pub is great, good food and excellent staff. Breakfast is lovely. However, the room we were in was not very clean (light shades thick with dust for example) and the furniture and mattress were very tired.

Very friendly and welcoming with substantial meals, deserts over priced..

Very good for short break but out of town with steep hill to walk, food good but deserts highly priced and too creamy also meals too large perhaps oap choice of smaller helpings at reduced prices would be an advantage (less wasteage}

Comfortable short break

Close.enough to walk into and explore Rye on the day of our arrival returning for dinner in the evening.. After a very good breakfast we were out all day visiting friends returning late.

Lovely short break

Very welcoming staff and great food. Situated on a main road, at the top of a hill, about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Rye. Spacious rooms but a little more attention to cleanliness please, particularly behind the bathroom door. Could do with a small, inside seating area if you're just there for drinks as the inn is devoted to the gorgeous food served. All in all, a lovely short break.
