Beautiful and newly constructed in 2017, our two-story treetop cabin is a perfect up-north getaway. With an open floor plan, the main level features a great room/kitchen/living room and a fireplace for the chilly nights. The elevated porch offers treetop views of the woods and wildlife. The perfect weekend away

The treehouse cabin was an incredible stay. The cabin is beautiful appointed and thoughtfully laid out. Darrin’s communication is top-notch, and the neighbors are friendly (we accidentally went to the wrong cabin when we first arrived). What a great way to spend a cold February weekend. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect weekend Up North! :)

Great homebase for lake trip!

We had a wonderful time staying at the treehouse while in Crosslake. Access to the Community Center was perfect for our group of teens who used the courts, field and weight room. The beds were heavenly! I loved the crisp AC and the kitchen was well stocked. I'd highly recommend this property.

Great cabin, close to everything

My wife and our 19 year old autistic son came up with me. We rented a side by side and went trail riding with some friends from the area. Great location in a private neighborhood. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for something low key.

Perfect retreat

The property is exactly as shown- very clean and well maintained. The area is peaceful, and a short drive to town. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying nature, peace and quiet. It was the perfect couples retreat and would be great for a family stay as well. Highly recommended staying here! We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the area for a family reunion. Location was great as other family were just down the road. Place was very clean, organized, and furnished so easily met our needs. With the elevated cabin/treehouse feel it privided a unique vibe which we really enjoyed. It easily met our needs and i would stay again when in the area .

Wonderful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay in the TreeTop cabin! The cabin was very clean and well furnished. All of the kitchen utensils and spices one could need! The picnic table and fire pit were wonderful outdoor options! You can hear the traffic from the highway, but it’s secluded and peaceful! Great location in Crosslake!

WOW!

The treetop is exactly as advertised. Great view, wildlife, fire pit, A/C, beautiful and well kept property. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a break in a wonderful setting. Darrin is an excellent host who checked in with us to see how we were doing. Everything was perfect. We will be going back soon.

Great Tree House adventure

The only problem we had was finding the place. GPS does NOT get to the this well-hidden spot. We had to stop and ask someone at a church after GPS saying we had arrived. The Tree House is awesome once you find it.

Our mini-moon

My new husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway after a whirlwind of excitement post-wedding. This was just what we needed! We both love camping, and enjoy being outdoors, but didn't want all the "work" that comes with camping. This turn-key stay in the woods was perfect for us to unwind. We are the Stuhrs. We purchased the property from the neighboring Kochs in 2020. The property was built by local builder, Wes Hanson. The property is nestled in 4 acres of woods that was given to the Koch children by their grandfather. The grandchildren built treehouse in the woods and those memories lived out years later in beautifully designed "treetop" cabins in the heart of Crosslake. We hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do.
