Two bedroom cottage situated in a quiet location down a secluded lane.
This two bed cottage is situated in a quiet location at the eastern end of the village and is accessed via a secluded lane. It has a fully fitted kitchen and a comfortable sitting and dining area. There is also a galleried area with further seating to relax with a book. The cottage has under floor heating throughout for those cosy nights in and there is an outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy days in the sun and evenings under the stars. Other amenities include a television, WiFi and off street parking. There is also a lockable storage space for bikes available.
The village of Harome is nestled between the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Harome is only two miles from the market town of Helmsley, which has a wide selection of independent shops, bakeries and cafes as well as an arts centre and a mediaeval castle. Other nearby villages include Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Malton, the northern home of the racing industry and famous for its food festivals and farmers markets. The area is popular with walkers, history enthusiasts and food lovers. For dining out Harome itself boasts the Michelin Star awarded Star Inn as well as the equally renowned Pheasant Hotel. Both restaurants are very popular and so require booking well in advance.
