Welcoming and cosy, it feels as though Beekeeper’s Cottage almost gives you a hug as you arrive. Carefully designed and furnished to offer relaxation and comfort, and with the added bonus of having a travel cot and highchair available for the younger members of your party, you are sure to fall in love with this pretty cabin. Boasting a partially covered decked area and a fully enclosed garden, you may find it difficult to tear yourself away but if you do you will find much to see and do. It’s a walker’s dream as guests can walk to the two closest villages without stepping on a road. A public footpath runs down the side of Beekeeper’s Cabin, passing through an ancient wood and European status protected chalk fen.
Perfectly located for coast, Broads and city - head in any direction and you will soon be exploring the very best parts of Norfolk. Be at beautiful Cromer or Sheringham beaches in half an hour, exploring Cromer’s Edwardian seafront and famous pier, or Sheringham Park or North Norfolk Railway. Or head to the Broads and be in bustling Wroxham in 25 minutes. Here you can hire a day launch or join a tour and drift along these much celebrated waterways. If you like you can even hop on Bure Valley Railway, which takes you from nearby Aylsham across the open countryside to Wroxham, perfect for seeing hidden Norfolk sites. Don’t miss a trip to Norwich too. You are close to a park and ride that will take you in to the centre with its award winning market, Lanes shopping, Norman castle and numerous museums, galleries and theatres. History lovers will also enjoy the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections, a host of museums and the Blicking, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, with Blickling just up the road.
Bird and wildlife lovers will enjoy Cley Marshes, Pensthorpe and RSPB Titchwell Marshes and coastal buffs will find Wells-next-the-Sea with its painted beach huts and picturesque quay and indeed Blakeney, where you can enjoy a spot of crabbing, a must see. Add in family attractions such as Bewilderwood, Amazonia Zoo, the nearby Dinosaur Park and lots of others too and you will soon see why this area is such a huge attraction to young and old alike. And best of all! Returning to Beekeeper’s Cabin for a lovely night’s sleep. It is possible to bring a tent to accommodate an extra 2 people by direct arrangement with the owner. Beach 19 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
