A wonderful week with stunning views and comfortable accommodation.

This was our 4th visit and we have booked for 2026. We love the accommodation. It's comfortable, spacious and warm. It suits our needs perfectly as we love walking and being in the countryside. The outside patio area is great, weather permitting - this year we used it a lot. The showers are brilliant and all the beds are comfy. There's plenty of space in the communal areas for eating and the kitchens are well equipped. The garden is pretty with lovely views.

A lovely cosy stay in Keswick

This was our third stay at the Lookout and we have just booked for next year. The house is lovely, clean and cosy. It is the perfect space for the 10 of us and an easy walking distance into Keswick. We can't fault it and look forward to returning.

Excellent location with plenty of space for 2 families

Great location with easy walk into the centre of Keswick. The accomodation is modern with plenty of space for 2 families including 5 teenagers. The table football table was a big plus on the rainy days. Easy access to other areas of the lakes.

We had an excellent week in this lovely house.

The Lookout is a very comfortable house with splendid views of the mountains. Plenty to do in the area and a comfortable place to return to after a day out. It's well equipped for self catering, but also only a short walk into Keswick for its shops, pubs and restaurants

We stayed at The Lookout with our family for my husband’s 75th birthday. The whole house has a lovely feel to it and felt very homely! The bedrooms and en-suites are very spacious and the downstairs is perfect for relaxing in front of the log burner after a day of walking! Thank you for the happy memories we have of our stay at The Lookout!

A great place to stay with amazing views

The Lookout is a lovely house with plenty of space and facilities. We stayed with family members for a wedding anniversary celebration and had a great time... the house is walkable to Keswick, has loads of parking, great cooking facilities and comfortable bedrooms.... even a ping pong table! The views over the hills from the back porch are amazing.

Beautiful place to stay

Spent a week here with my family. The house is a short walk from town or 2 mins in a taxi. Myself and my husband stayed in the apartment along with our dog,and the rest of the family were in the main house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay, the house provided everything we needed , the pool table went down a treat with the boys and the adults enjoyed the beautiful garden.

Great venue for a family get together with stunning views of the fells.

Location is brilliant with amazing views of the fells. 20 minute walk into Keswick so no worries about parking. Accommodation was perfect for our family and the dogs although beautiful garden was not secure. So much space for family to spread out . Kitchens and bathrooms all very well equipped . Really comfortable beds. Just F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S.

A gem of a find, will definitely be back.

Fantastic location, near the disused railway walk from Keswick to Threlkeld (cycle route 71). Amazing views across Keswick to all the hills beyond. Great house, lots of ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds. Stunning garden with access from various patio doors. Table tennis in the garage.

Breathtaking Views and lovely spacious home with magnificent garden

We simply adored our stay at The Lookout. Great home and space/size for our group of friends and family of 10 as we rented the whole property. Kitchen was excellent, lots of plates, cutlery and pots/pans. 2 outdoor patios perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Outside Weiber charcoal BBQ was well used. Friendly neighbours (which is not always the case with holiday rentals!! Already looking at booking for 2024! Thank you to our hosts Jamie & Rach for a memorable stay.

We love The Lookout

Accommodation spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Views over Keswick to the mountains are glorious. Good access to country walks and activities. Pretty garden, lots of seating for admiring the views. Short walk down hill to Keswick. There are also busses. Parking for several cars. The kitchens are spacious, we cooked our own meals most evenings. Dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are lots of games etc for amusement and an Alex for music. Altogether brilliant!
