Herve Cocco, grew up in Chamonix, while Amanda Jackson was raised in Stockholm, among with the vintage furniture in her parents' design gallery. Founded in 1981, Jacksons has become something of an institution in Scandinavian design circles and when they decided to open a guesthouse next to the Planards slope in the center of Chamonix, it felt natural to furnish it with the kind of objects that had followed Amanda throughout her life: Kasthall carpets, Marimakko curtains mix with Kerstin Horlin-Holmquist's Paradise sofas, Borge Mergensen's Spanish chairs and many other classics.
Herve inherited the house from his parents, it has been in the family since 1910, and his mother was born on the first floor. They decided to turn the property into three separate apartments, all with balconies or a private garden.
With Herve's lifetime knowledge of Chamonix valley and Amanda's passion for the beauty of design they will do their utmost to make your stay that little bitt extra.
