- We think this house is most comfortable with a maximum of 4 people, because of the beds and only 1 toilet.

Holiday home de Kanoet is an attractive and comfortable detached house in a quiet location, in a beautiful area near the beach and the lighthouse of Haamstede. In five minutes you cycle to the beach crossing at the Vuurtorenpad. The center of Burgh Haamstede can be reached within 15 minutes by bike, here are several restaurants, shops and a supermarket. A recreation park with a (indoor) playground, mini golf and tennis courts is a fifteen minute bike ride away. In twenty minutes you are in the beautiful town of Zierikzee with monumental buildings, cozy shops, restaurants and the marina. Making trips to the provincial capital Middelburg, the picturesque Veere and the various small villages is highly recommended. At Dreischor you can visit a vineyard where the best Zeeland white wine is made.

House layout:
Through the hall you enter the living room. Here is a cozy sitting area with a small wood stove. From the living room you can go through the garden door to one of the terraces with dining table. Adjacent to the living room is the spacious kitchen with dining area. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences. You can walk into the backyard through the French doors. Here is a second terrace. From the hall you have access to the simple bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, toilet, washing machine and dryer. You also enter the two bedrooms through the hall. One with a double bed with two separate mattresses (2x 90x200) and one with two single beds (90x200) and a loft with two more single mattresses on a low slatted base. This is a great place to sleep for children from the age of 6 (because of the steep stairs).

Leider nicht das was wir für den Preis erwartet hätten.

Ein schönes Haus in schöner Umgebung. Leider ist das Haus und der Garten, sowie die Terrasse insgesamt etwas verwahrlost. Der Backofen war so schmutzig, daß wir es unterlassen haben, ihn zu gebrauchen. Die Klinke zum Badezimmer war kaputt, sodass ich einmal drin war und nicht wieder rauskam. Gott sei Dank war ich nicht alleine! Eigentlich müsste so etwas von dem Reinigungsteam bemerkt und weitergegeben werden. Die Schubladen in der Küche waren voller Krümel und das ganze Küchenzeug müsste mal gespült werden. Geschirr und Besteck war aber sauber. Die Polster für die Gartenstühle müssten mal gewaschen werden, wir haben sie erst gar nicht benutzt. Trotz allem haben wir unseren Urlaub genossen. Schade um so ein schönes Haus

Ferienhaus in der Näher sehr schöner Strände

Das Ferienhaus ist klein, bietet aber alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist wunderbar in der Nähe der Dünen und vieler Strände, die man im Herbst alle mit dem Hund besuchen konnte. Wir hatten Probleme mit der Heizung, die Laute Geräusche von sich gegeben hat. Aber nachdem wir dies gemeldet haben, wurde umgehend ein Techniker geschickt. Die Kommunikation mit den Verwalterinnen war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch die Übernahme und Rückgabe des Objektes verlief ohne Probleme. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten, wie z.B. das Waschtisch-Unterschränkchen im Bad könnten einmal erneuert werden, aber die Lage hat dafür entschädigt. Leider hat das Wetter nicht dazu eingeladen Fahrräder zu mieten, sonst hätte man viele Strandabschnitte oder den Supermarkt für die Frühstücksbrötchen auch mit dem Fahrrad erreichen können und man hätte das Auto nur selten benötigt.
