All on one level, it is perfect for a family or a group of friends. The living/dining room is a highlight with a wood burning stove, Smart TV and sliding doors out to the incredible location.
Staying at The Loch House you’re literally a stone’s throw away from the water, so pack the fishing rod and if you like kayaking, bring that too. You’ll love being at The Loch House, a week won’t be long enough. You can explore the coastal surrounds till your heart’s content, but what’s really great about The Loch House, beyond the shoreside situation, is the location on the island.
You are only a few minutes’ drive from Dunvegan with its castle and gardens, and a little further on Coral Beach, Point Neist Lighthouse, Macleods Tables and Macleods Maidens. A little further from The Loch House going south you have the Talisker Distillery (which you could easily paddle across the loch to), Fairy Pools and alpine Cuillin Hills. There’s so much to do on top of this, with Waternish, Trotternish and the south of the island awaiting further exploration. Maybe a week isn’t enough time?
