Relaxing and peaceful home with expansive garden
We rented this home for a family vacation for my sister and I and our teenage children. It was perfect, with lots of space to relax, easy access to country walks, pubs and grocery stores but also a fast train trip into London. It’s an older home and has some quirks, but that just added to the charm.

Great Property - Highly Recommended!!!
We really enjoyed our family stay at this property. It's in a very quiet location and the house and gardens are beautiful. The highlight was the ability to open the patio doors directly onto the outside dining area and huge garden which allowed us to enjoy some very comfortable and relaxing family dinners. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and Liz and John are outstanding hosts. They gave us all the information and help we needed and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We also rented the cabin which is at the end of the garden and allowed a couple of us to enjoy some nights in the "woods". I highly recommend this if it is available. This is a 5 star property. We miss it already!!!

Family Stay in Meopham
We loved the house and the garden. Excellent links for rail to London. Shops, pubs and restaurants near by. Great walking the footpaths. Plenty of space. Only downside was the hot master bedroom, packed closets (little storage) and quirky bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely and quiet in evenings.

Great weekend at a beautiful property
We rented this property for a family weekend, which was to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. We chose the property because it was only a 30/40 minute drive to Biggin Hill, where we had arranged a Spitfire flight as a gift for my father. The location was great. Very peaceful and close walking distance to some lovely pubs/restaurants in Meopham itself. We arrived a little early to the property, so the host John agreed to contact us when he was ready to check us in, which gave us the opportunity to try the George Inn, a short distance away. John gave us a tour of the property, which was once a residential part of the nearby church. The property is lovely inside, with roomy bedrooms, with two en-suite, and comfy beds. The open dining/kitchen/living area is a very good space, which is where we spent most of our time together while we were in the property, and it has great views of the large garden. Both of the hosts were helpful with information about the property and the local area and kept us up to date prior to us arriving at the property. Thank you Liz and John, we had a lovely weekend celebrating my father's 70th birthday.

Great place to stay for a family get together
We stayed at the property for 4 nights while we visited Meopham for a family wedding. We used 3 of the bedrooms which were all very spacious and comfortable. The real selling point was the large downstairs living area. There is a huge and beautifully peaceful garden and plenty of areas to sit outside and enjoy the countryside. There is a large dining room and open planned kitchen, and a spacious and comfortable living room. Communication with the hosts was great. We were even welcomed at the property with a chilled bottle of prosecco. There is a good pub 10 minutes walk away and an even better one if you're happy to walk 20 minutes. Tesco is close for groceries. Highly recommend.
