This traditional stone cottage will not disappoint, set in the Snowdonia National Park in the village of Betws Y Coed, surrounded by truly special scenery.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Slipper Bath, Walk-In Shower, No Toilet. Gas central heating (underfloor on ground floor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and fireguard. Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine and underfloor heating. . Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Bike store. On-road parking. No smoking.. Banc Llugwy is a wonderful holiday cottage, offering comfortable family accommodation in a great location. Inside you will be greeted by an immaculate and tastefully restored cottage, the kitchen/dining room is a fabulous entertaining space, well-equipped with everything you’ll need and more. Wander through to the enclosed, landscaped garden, a stunning spot to relax and enjoy the tree lined backdrop. The living room has a traditional wood burner with comfortable seating, a restful space to sit with a hot drink or a glass of wine, and chat about the day’s adventures. There really is everything you need within a few hundred yards walking distance from the cottage, pubs, restaurants, a local shop with bakery and some fabulous independent shops to peruse, not to mention a whole host of outdoor shops.
Only 2 miles away is Llyn (lake) Elsi, and Llyn Geirionydd is less than 6 miles away, where you can use kayaks and paddle boards. For cyclists the Marin bike trails at Gwydir are less than 4 miles away or take a walk to the picturesque Swallow Falls just 2 miles from the cottage. Just under 3 miles away you can find tree top climbing and a forest coaster ride! With Zip World and Bounce Bellow at Llechwedd Quarry just a 20 minutes’ drive away, you are sure of an epic experience. For the more intrepid adventurer, Pen Y Pass route for Mount Snowdon is only 10 miles away, with the more popular Llanberis route is 16 miles distant. Further down the coast less than a half hour drive away is the walled harbour town of Conwy, home to the smallest house in Britain and the imposing UNESCO world heritage site of Conwy Castle. What a place to really experience it all, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this special region. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.

Wet week

Very wet rainy week. Utility room a definite help. Property very clean, well organised and had everything we needed. Bathroom/shower room brilliant. Convenient for trips out by public transport. Only downside - road traffic noisy at times.
