This is my second time here, so returning customers are telling it all. It is cozy, and perfectly located for this hiker gal. Western side of Sedona, very easy to get to all the major trails. The owner is extremely attentive. Awesome experience overall!
As a hiker, I loved the location of this spot on the west side of Sedona. Some trails within walking distance, and everything "important" was a quick drive! It was lovely to hike my brains out then return to this quiet, comfy little nest....to rest. I will definitely go back!
We enjoyed our stay, it was close to trails and all the main attractions. We would have liked some utensils and a freezer that worked. A microwave would be really nice as well. Bed was comfy, liked that there is a window a/c unit as well as a fan on the wall. We were disappointed that there didn't seem to be a private outdoor space. Overall good value.
We loved our stay at the bird's nest! The place was clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and the hosts were responsive. And all for a reasonable price. Would stay again.
Great little place to stay for a few days. You can tell the hosts care about making sure our stay was perfect. We appreciated that extra touch and will be back:)
Good location, other than that our stay was extremely underwhelming. I wasn't able to refer back to how the property was listed because the property owner deleted the listing after I kindly asked for my $59 damage protection plan to be refunded as promised. Initially I asked him to take this "plan" off as I was already charged a $100 refundable deposit. The property owner said he couldn't take the damage protection off the listing which is completely false (confirmed by VRBO representative). VRBO told me that the property owner gave me false information and was responsible for refunding the $59 as he promised in the VRBO messaging. He literally told me to "take it up with VRBO" and never once tried contacting VRBO himself. VRBO told me to request a chargeback on my credit card due to false information/advertising and inability to communicate. During our stay I requested a TV or IPad since the property didn't have one (nor did they have a microwave). The property owner said he would bring me an ipad and then never did. Only to message me way after the fact saying he wasn't able to do so. Other than the location, the only other thing I can take away from this experience is the property was so uncomfortable and awkward that we spent more time exploring as we didn't want to come back to the property. There was also a binder with the most ridiculous rules which weren't listed on the property listing. Complete bait and switch and ended up costing more than a nice hotel. Stay away!!
The guest quarters are attached to the owners home, but separate and private. There is also another unit on the property with a tenant, but I never saw that individual. There are neighbors very close by but they were quiet, as well. I was in training all day, so I just wanted a clean, quiet place to lay my head at night. This rental served that purpose well. There is no TV which was fine with me, but they have an abundance of book choices available. The location is West Sedona and in close proximity to grocery stores, good restaurants, hiking trails, and pretty much whatever you need. It was easy to locate. Parking is quite tight, but it worked fine for my full size rental car. Nice place for a sole traveler. Thank you much for providing the coffee. Guests always enjoy special little surprises, even if its assorted coffees, or a bowel of granola bars (the listing had said to bring your own coffee I believe). Little surprises can make a difference when customers consider choosing your listing over someone else's on a return trip. Thanks again.
This is my second time staying here and I love it. Perfect spot to land for exploring Sedona. Just what I need, nothing I don't. Great location and close to everything and in such a quiet neighborhood. It's great to be away from the bustle of town!
Had a wonderful stay. Communication with owner was excellent and addressed our concerns promptly. Bed was comfortable and restful. Easy check in/check out.
Amazing location close to beautiful hikes! Communicating with Sam was excellent. Seamless check-in process with great instructions. Cute, clean and cozy space that made us feel right at home. We would stay again in a heart beat!
The birds nest was the perfect space for us. Great location, easy hiking access from house. Quiet neighborhood, very clean and private space. Everything you need is there. Enjoyed our stay and would visit here again. Thank you!!!
This was such a cozy, quiet place to rest after hiking and sight seeing. It is close to anything you might want to do in the area. The room and bathroom were very clean. Host made sure to get us info for check-in well ahead of time since service may be spotty in the area when driving in. Sedona is a Dark-Sky community so keep that in mind if you are driving in late. This however makes it a great place to star gaze at night which you can do from the driveway! Will definitely try to book again when we go back to visit!
