About this property

Cosy wee cottage w/gorgeous views

Recent barn conversion. Luxury modern cottage sleeping 4 in gorgeous Scottish countryside.

Fluffy cotton towels and luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen.

1 dog welcome in lounge/kitchen/diner and sleeping in hall.

Please note, as we are in the countryside, the Cottages do not have mains water supply or drainage. Our lovely, private spring water supply is fully filtered, UV-treated and tested, by the local authority, annually.

Barn & Stable Cottages both sleep four in a double and a twin room. One cottage has been recently refurbished but still retains its old country charm, with open fire and wooden beams. The second cottage was converted from Estate barns to a cosy cottage with modern facilities. The location, in the Ochil hills, feels remote but is only 4 miles from nearest town with pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc..

Fine peedie cottage!

A nice cottage for a short stay. Overall cleanliness good, and all amenities covered well. Some areas could do with a small touch up/modernisation though. Can't fault the host for her communication and information though. If you are looking for a holiday to escape, and have peace and quiet this would be the place to come.

Nice break away

The instructions I received in the email made for an easy find. It is quite remote but this worked great for us. The property is lovely and clean. Has lots of extras in the kitchen and others like hairdryer and a towel heater which just makes life easier. Beds were really comfy in the main bedroom. Hosts were very pleasant, husband and daughter got a wee history lesson of the area which they appreciated and got to meet the dogs which was even more appreciated :)

Nice little cottage near Dunblane

We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 kids. Location is good - nice countryside to explore and burn off energy- yet only 10 mins away from Dunblane and other areas. We would recommend

Barn Cottage

Lovely cottage, beautiful surroundings. Ideal for a family of four. Lots of walks close by and easy travelling to Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk etc for days out. Internet access is limited due to the location. Very clean and well presented and Bev and Drew were helpful informative hosts.

Family break at Barn Cottage

We enjoyed a fantastic week at Barn Cottage which was well equipped and very comfortable. The cottage was very well presented and cleaned to a high standard. Bev was very welcoming and had kindly left us a bottle of wine and other lovely treats which were much appreciated on arrival. Great walks and plenty of outdoor activities for family outings nearby. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage on a country estate

Had a lovely week in August staying at Barn Cottage. The place is decorated to a modern design despite the exterior being a traditional stone cottage. The 4 rooms are all of a good size. 2 double bedrooms (one with a shower) 1 bathroom and a cosy kitchen/lounge/dining area. The temperature outside was average for Scotland and the inside was kept comfortable by the way of electric radiators. The kitchen was fully equipped with all that you need including a washing machine. There were complimentary toiletries, use of towels and food to help the first day or so of your stay. The cottage is part of an estate which is quite remote so a car is essential. Also a love of narrow country lanes is helpful as whatever way you leave the cottage you will drive down one. The estate managers are on site to help and advise you should you need their help.

Cosy cottage in a beautiful spot

My wife and I stayed here for a week at the end of May. We had glorious sunshine all week and found the cottage ideally situated for walking and cycling as well as being close to Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane. The cottage had everything we needed and is located in a quiet spot at the top of a hill giving wonderful views out over towards the Trossachs. Bev and Drew were great hosts and made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
