Fragola - Fruit Flats is a recently renovated self-catering apartment with 1 bedroom (queen size bed or on request, twin beds), a light-filled living/dining room with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Amenities include a television and stereo, air conditioning and heat, a washing machine and dishwasher, a microwave oven and internet.

LOCATION

The apartment is in the heart of Minori, 50 meters - 54 yards from the ocean, bus stop and ferry dock reachable in less than a 1-minute walk. If you'd like to visit Ravello, Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Salerno or Naples, you can get there quickly and easily from Minori by taxi, bus, or boat (where and when is possible)! Pompei, Herculaneum, and Paestum are easily reachable in about 1,30h driving (we can also organize a taxi) or can be also reached by public transport.

Fragola is a fourth-floor walk-up (120 stairs) located in a carefully restored historical building, it faces the stunning St. Trofimena´s cathedral.

Parking space is available starting from Euro 20 per day. per car (depending on size car and period);

Confirmation Policy :

For the definitive confirmation of the reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay (+ service fee) is required at the moment of the booking, through HOMEAWAY/VRBO reservation system.

The balance will be paid on arrival.

The rental period can start and finish any day (according to the availability).

Check-in: any day of the week from 2.30 PM to 8.30 PM.
For arrivals from 8.30 pm to 11.00 pm, an additional fee of €30 will be charged.
For arrivals AFTER 11.00 pm, the fee increases to €50.
Check-out (any day of the week) is by 10.00 AM.
A different time can be agreed, according to the availability.

We loved our stay at this beautiful older building full of character! The view was great, they left fun treats for us and the location could not be better. There are a lot of stairs but it’s great fun if your knees are working fine:)

Very cute place
It was lovely to be right on the water. The place was super clean and the manager was always available to answer! You do have to walk up multiple flights of stairs but overall that was never an issue, the guy who checked us in even carried my suitcase all the way up for me. Lovely room and lovely people.

Fabulous location in a perfect town in Amalfi Coast.
This property was in the perfect spot to do day trips. It was quiet, quaint and the people we do kind. The apartment is a hike to get to with many stairs. But quite frankly all of Amalfi Coast has many stairs. My recommendation, walk slowly up and take in the beauty and architecture of the actual inside of the building as you make your trek up. Stop look at the walls, the curves, think about the age. It’s quite amazing actually. Vincenzo and his team were nothing but amazing. They are quick to respond and very very helpful. They arranged a driver for us the first day to get there. Any questions we had they were always very responsive. Highly recommend looking at his properties if you are staying in Amalfi Coast. The apartment was quaint but perfect. We loved it. Had a welcome bottle of wine and water. The bed is comfortable, the pillows were great. Big soft towels for the shower. A huge basket of snacks were left for us as well and we pretty much devoured it. The view is beautiful. Only complaint was ~0500 am you could hear a lot of garbage/recycle clean up pretty much every day but we just closed the doors and went back to sleep. The church bells were a non issue. They don’t chime until 0800 and aren’t obnoxious. All around a beautiful town, perfect home space for visiting the coast. Highly recommend. 💙

Amazing experience in Minori, hidden gem!!!
Stayed for a few days in Minori, a hidden gem in the Amalfi Coast. I almost don't want to write about it, so people don't find about it! The apartment was amazing, right across from the beach, staff was extremely communicative, before arrival and during the entire stay. Vincenzo, Andrea and the entire team are top notch! Please don't go, so I can go again! :)

Great location near restaurants, beach, boat and bus. Very clean and has all amenities you could need. Manager is very responsive and helpful. There are a lot of steps, not an issue for us, but should be aware in case you are unable to climb. Would recommend to everybody.

The location of this property in Minori is perfect. We had a seaview room on the top floor. There were french doors that opened to this beautiful view. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us. The only negative thing I can say is that it required many steps to get up to our room. If you are not up to climbing many flights I would not choose this room. It was well worth the view though if that is not an issue. The location of the property was perfect. It was an easy walk to the many shops and restaurants. The beach was right across the street and there was easy access to the Ferries. Vincenzo arranged for someone to pick us up at the train station in Salerno which we really appreciated. It was a wonderful trip to Minori!

Vincenzo’s property was great! We were greeted by Andrea outside of the building who kindly helped us with some of our luggage up, gave us a tour of our place, along with recommendations on where to eat, the best travel routes, and directions to the infinity pool (YOU MUST CHECK THIS OUT!). Vincenzo was very helpful and quick to respond to my messages with ferry time tables and more. The property itself was amazing, very clean and exactly as shown in the photos, super cute! We had friends staying in the Sea View room, also a property of Vincenzo, and this room was also great! I would recommend both properties for anyone looking to travel the Amalfi Coast. Cute and very friendly neighbourhood Minori is!

SO Wonderful
We had an incredible stay at the fruit flats in Minori. The apartment location is terrific and the town and people are extraordinary. The pool grounds are gorgeous and tucked away into the mountainside. Franko met us at the bus stop and walked us right into the beautiful building where our room was. Vincenzo was always on top of communication and didn't miss a beat. Will definitely be returning on our next trip as everything went wonderfully!

Absolutely beautiful
We loved our stay here. There is quite a long staircase to climb but once you arrive to the flat the views are incredible and well worth the climb. We loved being able to look out over the ocean every day and leave our windows open to listen to the sea. We loved staying in Minori as it is away from the heavy tourist area that you find in Almalfi. You can access Almalfi and Postiano, etc. easily by ferry. Everyone is very friendly and the food is great. We especially enjoyed the pizza at Sal De Riso. We would definitely stay here again.

Fragola in Minori
The villa was clean and fairly well appointed. The people involved including Vincenzo, Franco, the housekeeping woman, and the gentleman who assisted us with our luggage at checkout were excellent, and the taxi company arranged by Vincenzo was also excellent. The Cathedral bells about 40 meters away at the same height as the villa windows chimed loudly each and every hour all night long which made sleeping difficult even with the windows and shutters closed, the shower was quite small and had a loose drain cover that slipped off when stepped upon, the dishwasher area had a slanted very low ceiling that made it difficult to fill and empty the dishwasher and created a head-bumping hazard. The TV had many channels but no English language channels like BBC or CNN. If renting to Americans, one or more English channels are an expectation. We began walking to the infinity swimming pool but felt that walking on the narrow highway towards Amalfi was a bit too dangerous so we decided not to go to the pool. We could have taken a bus but never got around to it.

Beautiful view of a stunning Cathedral
There is not enough for me to say about this property and Vincenzo and his team. The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for a group of 4. the Decor is also warm and inviting l, making your stay feel like you are at home. The view of the cathedral was breath taking. The entire apartment was clean and perfect my friends and I could not have asked for more. Vincenzo and his team are very accommodating at the spur of a moment we wanted to extend our stay an additional night and contacted Vincenzo to see if it was possible. As luck would have it the room was available he made quick arrangements for us to stay the additional night and was prompt to respond to the request. Vincenzo also helped us plan and book how we would get from the airport to the apartment taking some worry and stress off our shoulders. He is promt at answering to emails and assured everything was ready for us when we arrived. When we arrived to the apartment Vincenzo had Francesco meet us outside the apartment, he was there waiting friendly and kind. He helped carry our suitcases up ( he did most of the lifting). He then let us into our apartment provided us with a tour and explanation of where everything was in town.( his directions were spot on) There is not enough I can write about Minori it was beyond amazing, the people of this town are kind, welcoming and over all amazing! They welcomed us where ever we went. Minori Is the perfect location for anyone looking for a beach nearby. But it is also just steps away from the boats and busses. Not to mention the cafe right next door to the apartment it's the perfect spot to wake up walk down and grab your morning cappuccino and then start your day. Everything is within walking distance, bars, restaurants and cafes. The food was fresh and delicious where ever we went. As we interacted with others they would offer suggestions of places to try and things to see. Everyone was so friendly. It is only 15 minutes at most from the Amalfi coast and is the perfect vacation destination. I would reccomend the apartments to all my family and friends. Just a note be prepared to walk there are a few flights of stairs to the top. After a while you get used to it, plus it's Europe! Hope to be back soon we loved it ! ❤️

Great location in Minori
Centrally located, lovely apartment, close to all activities. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and the only down side was 124 steps to the unit itself. It was very clean and well lit unit. There was a lovely coffee shop right below us that we went to everyday. Good restaurants located close by. The bus stop was 1 minute away and the boat stop for other Amalfi locations is a 3 minute walk. We loved this town, it is not as touristy as other towns on the Amalfi coast! The owner was very responsive. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind the walk up.

Very nice accommodation and town
Stayed in both suites (water view and cathedral view) each of the units were as shown in pictures. I found the units to be very clean. For those of you that like a nice bathroom I found the facilities to be excellent. The contrast between old and new in this building was immediately evident. The only drawback was the number of stairs you must climb to get to the units, but then again in the Amalfi coast you might as well get used to walking and climbing. The town was very nice and close to other similar towns of interest (Maiori, Amalfi, Ravello etc). I would recommend for a couple or single, looking to experience accommodations other then a hotel. As well Vincenzo did an excellent job and was available when needed.

Perfect
We called on arrival as we planned to sit and have a drink whilst waiting for someone to arrive with our keys but within 10 minutes Franco appeared and we had our car parked and were installed within no time. The flat was perfect, bright, clean, well equipped and superb location for beach, town or as a base to reach all the other fantastic Amalfi treasures. This is not for you if you have mobility issues, Fragola is at the top of the building with a 120 step climb but we loved it as it helped us to work off all the pasta, pizza and wine...some of it at least! Amalfi in general would be difficult for anyone with impaired mobility as many of the locations are steep and parking can be a challenge (although part of the fun). The Cathedral view is beautiful and once again we loved watching and hearing the world go by from the balcony. When the balcony doors are closed there is very little noise but the bells from the clock tower can still be heard (although they do stop from 11pm until 7am so you have a peaceful nights sleep). We can't fault anything that Fragola, Minori and the Amalfi coast had to offer, totally enchanting.

Beautiful retreat in a beautiful place
We booked this property on a whim due to price and location and it more than exceeded our expectations. The views are amazing. The location is glorious. If you want to relax and soak up the real rural Italy this is a great base. Franco met us and orientated us as to where everything was in the town, and also carried our very heavy luggage upstairs - when we offered to help he shrugged it of with "this is the Amalfi way" this is true - people are lovely and you do get very fit, particularly if you do any of the walks we enjoyed- we walked regularly across the mountain path to Minori as per the book in the apartment, and once to Ravello and back - lovely but quite challenging! We didn't do a huge amount of sightseeing as the weather and walking were so glorious, but Pompeii was wonderful. We didn't hire a car - Bus trips to Amalfi are around 2.5 euros from Minori, and Sorrento and the rest of the Amalfi coast are very accessible. Vincenzo was incredibly helpful , and organised our airport transfers, and the property was cleaned 3 times during our 10 day stay. It was spotless. Also worth noting that the pool that you have access to is about 10 minutes away and is, again, amazing. The beach might not look much, but get down there and have a paddle or swim - again, amazing. I know this is becoming a review of the whole holiday, not just the apartment, but it was so special. If you love Italy, walking, sightseeing, good food and drink, this is the place to stay. Yes it is a climb up the steps and you need to be reasonably fit. But it is very very well worth the climb. We will definitely return.

Our stay in Minori last September was incredible.
The "Fragola", the apartment unit owned by Amalfi vacations was wonderful. It was clean, well equipped, and well maintained. We highly recommend it, if you can walk the 120 steps to room. We will be returning.
