Hüttenrode is 8 km southwest of Wernigerode. This child-friendly, well-maintained and well-equipped holiday home is in a quiet location a few hundred metres outside the village. Enjoy breakfast in the open air or just have some rest and relaxation on the private terrace. A garden with garden furniture is also available for your use. Dogs are welcome - but the landlord asks not to let the dogs into the upstairs bedrooms.

Discover the Harz foreland or the peaks of the Harz Mountains on well-marked hiking trails. The Harz is very popular with cyclists and mountain bikers. The best mountain biking region in northern Germany leaves nothing to be desired. Many well-marked mountain bike trails from easy to extreme offer beginners and advanced riders fitting challenges. But numerous excursion destinations and sights are also easily reachable, including Wernigerode, Halberstadt, Quedlinburg, Thale (Witches' dancing place, Rosstrappe), Schierke, Rübeland (caves), Bode Gorge.
