The town of Deggendorf is also known as the gateway to the Bavarian Forest and is a small, thriving town with many small restaurants and shopping facilities. The house in which your holiday home is located is about one kilometre from the town centre and is situated on a quiet, sunny south-facing slope with a small garden. The bright and tastefully decorated ground floor apartment has a separate entrance. A large sun terrace with many Mediterranean plants invites you to relax. The Danube cycle path is only 300 metres away from the house - from here you can start cycling tours to Regensburg, Passau or Austria. Kilometre-long hiking trails lead through the region of the Bavarian Forest. In winter there are several options for skiing, hiking and cross-country skiing in the nearby cross-country ski run.
