The cottage makes an ideal base for hikers, with many rambling routes available from the doorstep, whilst the town of Matlock offers numerous bars and restaurants to cater for a variety of tastes. With the famous Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall situated in the surrounding hills and steam trains and tramway museums close by, there is plenty to keep all ages entertained!
