The accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, of a newly fitted kitchen with all the modern appliances you’ll need whilst you admire the distant views towards the River Torridge; a cosy living room and a separate dining room with a stocked shelf of games, maps and books. On the first floor there is a new bright bathroom with bath and separate corner shower cubicle, a king size bedroom, and a compact twin bedroom. Outside there is a small rear garden with seating and decking area, perfect for relaxing and cooking up a great barbeque, plus the rare advantage of a private gated drive.
Turnstone is about a 2 minute walk away from Bideford’s historic pannier market and is less than a 10 minute walk from the town centre and the river front and port, which was once Britain’s third largest. Beaches, such as Westward Ho! and Instow, are local hotspot firm favourites and are less than 4 miles away and the South West Coastal Path, which also runs through Westward Ho!, is a must for keen cyclists and walkers! Swimming, surfing, canoeing, entertainment for all the family and fishing are all close by in the locality and the popular Tarka Trail can be accessed just across the river, providing the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line, allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery and enjoy various treats along the way through Instow, Fremington Quay and onto Barnstaple - North Devon’s historical regional centre. For a day with a difference why not take a trip across to Lundy Island? Home to England’s first statutory Marine Nature Reserve, due to its unique flora and fauna. Measuring just 3 miles by ¾ mile, this entire island has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
