Very good indeed. Helen looked after us very well.

Lovely weekend in good location

The pod (The Rabbit Warren) was clean and cosy with everything you need for a short stay. Unfortunately the bed was incredibly uncomfortable which did put a bit of a dampener on our stay as we slept so badly. You could feel every spring and it sank into the middle. It would also be handy to have instructions for heating/lighting and sound as we were unsure what one of the control panels did. Be careful of the shower as twice I knocked the lever and scalded myself! Fantastic food at the pub.

Perfect

We came for an overnight stay as we had heard good reports. The accommodation is lovely and had everything that we needed. The local pub is also very nice, we popped in there for a few drinks and a meal which was excellent

Beautiful location and fantastic staff

Stayed in the shephards hut for 2 nights. Ideal location for walking and exploring with our 2 dogs. Accommodation spotlessly clean. Staff were so friendly and welcoming (dogs were spoilt too!). Food in the restaurant was amazing! Not a huge menu but wanted to try everything! A faultless weekend away. Thank you!!!!

Great location and facilities

We stayed in the shepherds hut at the back of the pub, we were met by Helen who was extremely helpful and check in was a breeze. The room was imacculately clean and very modern, on that point it could not be faulted. The only complaint was that the bed is sandwiched between walls and is only accessible from the foot of the bed which made access awkward but not impossible, the mattress was also very soft, fine if you like a soft mattress but not if you prefer a firmer one.

About the host

We are a quintessentially traditional english pub. All our staff, led by Land Lady Amber and supported by Helen and along with the rest of the team are local and have first hand knowledge of the area. Our village neigbours love telling stories to our residents and there is always a warm welcome. Its never too much trouble if you need anything and can happily recommend local things to do and places to enjoy. Its your break, so whether you want to chill at the bar or be left to enjoy a quiet meal in a cosy corner, its your choice. Tips for the pods are make up your bed before heading to the pub, enjoy the surroundings, we have plenty of deckchairs and outdoor seating, relax and take time out from the real world. We've even been asked to tell the little ones there is no WiFi so you can really go back to basics with family time and a good old board game. We look forward to meeting you on your stay with us.
