2024 May Half Term
Lovely area, good size property and especially kitchen. The 50 metre hill is a killer - not suitable for disabled or if you struggle with stairs or hills. Well stocked plates, glasses and cutlery. Everything worked inside. The weather was not so good but didn't take away from the week. The property should state that the stairs inside are steep and although we didn't have a problem, some would. The cooker and hob worked well. The showers and plumbing was good - but the rainwater was dripping in through one of the kitchen ceiling lights when arrived. I texted the caretaker who said it would be OK when it dried ??? Not a good answer, as is a safety issue. The utility room was very handy for cases etc. while we were there. The single beds are very narrow, so if you turn in your sleep, the chances of falling out are high. Perhaps a main point to make is a deep clean of dusting on skirtings and corners is needed. Also the garden needs to be looked after better. Weeds are 1 metre. There were cigarette ends and a beer can in the front garden, tucked under a shrub. Overall, we enjoyed the week, but wouldn't choose the cottage again because of the climb up the hill.

Lovely Place
This is our second year staying at Westover Cottage and we loved it. This year the weather was not as nice as in previous years which is the ultimate test of holiday home - we found it cosy and relaxing and as soon as the weather allowed we were immediately able to get out and about enjoying what the Roseland Peninsula has to offer. We hope to be back again!

Westover Cottage
Loved our stay. Perfect location and well equipped, comfortable cottage for 6. Lovely sunny, private terrace for outdoor eating. Lots to do on the water - no need for a car once you’re there - just hop on and off the ferries or walk to the beaches for swims, paddle boards, sails etc. Great places to eat too. Would thoroughly recommend.
