Review of Knight's Rest
A delightful little cottage - very well fitted out for a short stay, and in a perfect location for walking, nearby pubs and shopping in Leyburn.

8/10 Good

A week spent in Knights Rest
Very disappointed with this cottage. Disappointed in Yorkshire hideaways for agreeing and advertising it as a place for more than 2 people. The main bedroom has wall to wall king size bed with around 6-8inches room at the bottom where there is an old fire place with a 'jutting out' grate just ripe to smash your shins on if you attempted to negotiate the space. My husband and I decided it was safest to sleep in separate rooms. Admittedly it was very clean and warm but very much too cosy. We were fortunate that the weather was dry and we could get out every day so did not have to stay in a very confined space. Kitchen equipment seemed to be suited to a much larger occupancy. There was a lack of some essentials including over gloves which proved quite dangerous. Other issues identified at time of stay were noted as requested in the log book as requested.

Totally recommended !
A great break away staying in an idyllic cottage. Clean and comfortable, with welcoming touches :) Customer service from Yorkshire Hideaways was second to none. We'd had a local issue, which they unprompted followed up on. Would totally recommend !
