The golden shores of Sandown Bay are mere footsteps away from Jollys. This modern contemporary house has been stylishly furnished for a very comfortable holiday!

Upon entering, you will discover a lovely open plan space with a contemporary Kitchen with Breakfast Bar, Dining Area and Living Area with Smart TV. There is a well-positioned Island with seating for 2, the perfect place to socialise whilst preparing your meals. There are integrated appliances to include gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer washing machine and dishwasher.

The Living and Dining areas are stylishly furnished with solid oak furniture. There is a smart TV and a door out onto a paved terrace with outside table and chairs, sofa and a sun lounger.

Upstairs you will find a lovely Double bedroom looking out to the front of the property with some stylish industrial locker storage cabinets for your belongings. There is a king-size bedroom with a zip and link option of two 2’6 single beds, industrial locker style storage.

The main bedroom is a king room with the option to separate into 2 2’6 twin beds, industrial locker style storage. There is an en-suite shower room overhead shower and handheld shower attachment over, hand basin and WC.

The upstairs Family bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower over with handheld attachment hand basin and WC.

Outside to the rear is a stylish paved terrace with seating for 6, sun loungers as well as sofa seating. The perfect place to end your day, by relaxing in the Hot Tub

LOCATION:

Glorious Sandown Bay is on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found. Sandham Garden’s play area is just across the road from the apartment with go karting sky nets and crazy golf and children’s play area. A short flat walk further along towards Yaverland, and you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary formerly the isle of Wight Zoo, famous for its big cats. The town of Sandown is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beach front itself, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. Should you enjoy a coastal walk, you can walk the length of Sandown Bay from Yaverland past the Pier along the seaside revetment all the way to the popular neighbouring town of Shanklin. If you are keen on an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water-sports, and you’ll certainly see people paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather.

Allocated parking for 2 cars, along with spaces for visitors on a first come first serve basis

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £150 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.

There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside or outside the property.

This property can accept a maximum of 1 pet. The charge is £35 per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own bedding for your pet. Please ensure that you correctly add your pet when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately. Pets are not allowed on furniture or upstairs in the bedrooms.

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.

Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.

A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

A superb stay - extremely comfortable accommodation and great location.
We loved Jolly's - the facilities were amazing and the hot tub was a real winner! The location was amazing for us, literally round the corner from the beach and high street. Yes they are still building around the location, however noise was minimal and we really didn't notice it all. A superb stay, thank you.

A brilliant location and a great stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Jolly's in June. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived so it felt straight away that we could settle in and feel at home. The location was brilliant as it was over the road from a lovely local park which was great for our two children and only a 5min walk to the sea front. This isn't just an issue at Jolly's. We've found a lot of holiday lets have the same issue in the summer months. It would have been better if the bedrooms had blackout blinds or the blinds with curtains too. This was because the bedrooms let in too much light from very early in the morning so for a family with young children it meant every day they were up as soon as the sun lit up their rooms.

Fantastic
We loved this home because we felt right at home here straight away. Everything we could possibly need was available. Comfortable sofas and bed. The bathrooms are spotless and lovely fluffy towels. The hot tub was a great bonus and well situated in the patio garden. Great place to sit in the morning for breakfast and chill out in the evening. The skylights are a great feature as they let so much natural light into the stairwell and landing, the one in the bathroom is great as you don’t need the light on in there during the day as this has no window in there. All in all this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in. With just a short walk to the beach and so much more. BRILLIANT. Not much really, The flannelette sheets were a bit too warm for us. And the main door locks took a bit of getting used to when locking them.

An excellent property in a convenient location
We were looking for a flexible place in a convenient location close to the beach for a stay with two teenagers and a grandparent and Jolly’s worked very well for us. The property itself was spacious and had everything we needed. A minor point for anyone considering the property is the noise and activity from the building site which we were made aware of when booking. They’re building the steel frame for the apartments at the moment which was quite noisy from around 8am but within a few months much of that will be complete so don’t be put off for next summer. An electric car charger would be a ‘nice to have’ offer for the future but the chargers in the town car park we’re working well and usually available. We found Sandown a little disappointing on the options for eating out but if you don’t mind a drive the Yarbridge Inn just up the road is very good and there are lots of places in Shanklin…. Just make sure you book ahead as everywhere gets quite booked up! Overall a lovely stay and would certainly recommend Jolly’s to any family looking for flexible accommodation close to the beach and plenty of activities.

Annual holiday to the island
The property has little regard for 'Health & Safety' especially if accommodating small children. There was very little feed back on problems reported to the company, which does not open on Sundays. The quality of the sheets in two of the bedrooms (not the master bedroom) was poor, and could not be changed. The noise from the adjacent hotels, went on late into the night waking the children/or not getting them to sleep. The freezer was iced up making it extremely difficult to open & close any of the drawers.

Really nice property
This is a lovely 3 bedroom property with great clean facilities. Nearly everything was perfect so please take this as a positive review and I am only pointing out the minor shortfalls. 1. They are still building the site, this means the pathway on one side of the road is closed. This makes it difficult to cross the main road with a pushchair 2. There is some musci from hotel bars and bars in the evening. Nothing bad BUT you can't easily have the window open until 2100 3. The curtains are really thin and let a lot of light in. This is a real problem with kids. I would recomend some blackout blinds are added into the mix. 4. Sandown is getting a little run down Other than that the place was so good and I definitely plan to return.......

Great stay in no 5 Breakwater Way
The property was very clean and close to the town and beach with free parking facilities. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of useful items. The only thing that was not mentioned before booking was the building site in front of us. Thankfully although the diggers were there we did not see any workmen. Would highly recommend this property.
