Wedding Trip
The bungalow was very pleasingly renovated internally and outside is a work in progress which will be great when completed. Being a wedding trip over 2 nights only we weren’t able to make full use of everything available (which is plentiful). A very cosy cottage with plenty of open space, ideal for family breaks. Nadia herself was very helpful and of course we met Roxy the domesticated hen but sadly no eggs, perhaps on our next visit, we will be back!

Fantastic Christmas
As described, fantastic host, warm family home we enjoyed for Christmas with everything we could have asked with small touches which made the home feel as anyone would want for the big day. Nadia was very quick to reply to any message and provided thorough information to ease nerves for spending Christmas away, plenty of room and everything required for 6 adults to share a wonderful couple of days over Christmas and more if your stay was longer. Would happily come and stay here again and would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in this area, we didn't explore too much as it was Christmas however coming and going it looked like lovely picturesque scenery and would like to explore next time. Thank you for our great stay!

Five Nights in Norfolk
We were all pleased with "Greengates". Very comfortable and well equipped, the property ticked all our boxes. The children, .aged 31, 40 and 69 all enjoyed the pool table. Many thanks to Nadia for facilitating a great break for me and family. Denis

About the host

I am a mum of two children that grew up in Shouldham from the age of 12. Being rural we had many different types of animals; including horses.
Unfortunately my mother passed away several years ago and we wanted to continue to be able to keep the property for us to visit whenever we could but also allow it to earn its keep, but to also give many others the same enjoyment that we love each time we arrive.

Why they chose this property

This was my childhood home. Although the property has been updated it still retains all its original charm. My mum had 3 passions - animals, gardening and being an artist. The bungalow still expresses all these passions as it contains all her animal, plant and artist books. We also have her paintings throughout the bungalow; many depict landscape from the village including the poppy field and abbey wall paintings. I love the quietness the bungalow brings and it uplifts my wellbeing each time myself and my little family return.

What makes this property unique

All on one level.
Log burner.
Games Room.
Hikki Bohemen tub.
Large enclosed garden.
Summerhouse
Upto two dog pets allowed
