Lovely clean and comfortable apartment with sea view
The apartment was lovely and clean and very comfortable for our long weekend stay. The apartment was well equipped for a self catering break. The sea view was great and you could either sit in the comfort of the lounge / kitchen diner looking out through the big patio doors or enjoy the fresh air on the balcony. You could sit out with a morning coffee and get the sunshine but unfortunately this time of year it had gone off of the balcony by 4pm. You do have neighbours if you are sitting outside, although you are separated by a wooden fence / gate but could still see / hear each other.
To walk in to town it took about 8-10 mins and a little longer on the way back as it is up hill but not too bad. There were plenty of places to eat and drink in the town, along with shops and bakeries etc. The harbour was lovely to walk around.
We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Nice place with good views.
Host left no information about check-in. I rang multiple times but no answer…and no replies to VRBO messaging either. I was given the name of the house but the rental units only had numbers. I got lucky and figured out the combination to open the key box. Not sure what happened with our host but they totally dropped the ball on check in and did not reach out during or after our stay.
Great weekend away. Owners were very accommodating and arranged for balloons and banners to be at the property for our arrival.
Spectacular sea views. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Thank you
We turned up and even though there was slight confusion on which property was which (we were in Chapel View and all apartments were numbered - Chapel View's door is number 10), a quick phone call resolved this and we got the key from the keysafe.
One in it was obvious this was newly renovated and it was spotless! We spent a few seconds admiring the newness of the apartment before checking out the view from the balcony. I say balcony, it is more like a small roof garden. It's amazing!
From the moment you wake up to last thing at night, you will not get bored of that view. We were so hooked on it (plus we love Cornwall) that we are already planning on booking again at some point. The harbour town of Mevagissy is wonderful too and just a short stroll from the apartment.
We just hope that this place remains a secret for a while before it is constantly booked out!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..the only improvement could involve some supplies in the kitchen such as salt, pepper and a French press for coffee. We ended up purchasing things that could have easily been supplied
We stayed in flat 10 for 3 nights in August. The location, with parking was marvellous, to even have a parking space is like gold-dust in Mevagissey. The flat itself had everything you need for a short break, including nice comfortable bed, powerful shower and towels. Wifi was a bit hit and miss, but we had 4G to fall back on. Overall a lovely clean flat, a tad dated, but very compact and comfortable. The sea views were just amazing.
The apartments were ideally located to travel around the area and the advice to an alternative route rather than going through the town was a godsend as the roads are not easy to traverse.
Although rooms were slightly dated they were clean and tidy and Imogen was helpful and friendly
Perfect place to stay, lovely apartment with fabulous view, own private patio with furniture. Comfortable lounge/kitchen/dining area. Bedroom with chest of drawers & wardrobe and very modern bathroom with large walk in shower. Linen provided & big fluffy white towels. Because of the age of the property there are a few ‘squeaky’ floorboards if someone is in the apartment above, didn’t really bother us. We had two weeks perfect weather. You have a parking space too. A short walk down into Mevagissey but be aware it is a steep hill to walk back, the road is extremely narrow, two cars can’t pass. There’s a small park halfway down/up the hill with gorgeous views over the harbour with benches for a comfy rest to break the climb. Don’t miss going to the Mevagissey museum down in the harbour near the harbour masters office, free of charge and well worth a walk around, however the model railway museum didn’t seem worth £4 each to us. Lots of nice shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A very convenient store/post office and Moore’s fruit/veg/meat/deli great owner who will go out of his way to please.
As Mevagissey ex-pats, we were keen to get somewhere close to the village to leave the car parked up for our stay. Just a few minutes walk to the harbour and the same to Portmellon. Dog friendly accommodation, but if you have one, Portmellon beach is not accessible to them during July & August, (much better than many beaches). Property on the Southwest Coastal path. Walk to Chapel Point one way, to Pentewen the other.
Such a lovely stay: clean, well-stocked apartment with amazing views! Only down-side was the really, really narrow road going up/down to the apartments

Beautiful spot, amazing scenery
Spent the weekend listening to the sea and watching the fishermen go about their business. Mevagissey is a quaint little Cornish town, very narrow road though!!
Despite the weather we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you we will definitely be visiting again

Very comfortable apartment, walking distance to very cute village.
Enjoyed our visit to Messegivy and Cornwall, lots to see and relatively small area to cover. Will come back.

wonderful stay
great view, comfortable, in somewhat dated and basic furnishings. We came to hike and this was an excellent location. There must be an easier way to get to the site without going through the narrow streets of Mevagissey. Good parking, easy access to everything. We found the consumables were under supplied, the oven dirty, and the laundry room messy, dirty and under-kept. The heat should have been on earlier and longer, but the heated towel rack was greatly appreciated. Managers should do a critical check on the property occasionally. We highly recommend the apartments, particularly the ones with a sea view.

Apartment No 10
Very compact and clean, fantastic view, good parking but getting into Mevagissey a big problem as road very narrow and steep, had a bottle-neck every time I drove into town. We stayed just out-of-season (8-12 Sept) but still found eating out in the evening a problem because we were not allowed to pre-book at any of the restaurants and there are only so many plates of fish-and-chips one person can eat!
However it didn't spoil our holiday and we will be back sometime in the future.
