My favorite place

I love this place and will come again next year. This is a great stay with an excellent owner (Saul). The home is clean and comfortable. It has an open layout with dual sliding glass doors giving a bright and airy feel during the day and a good view of the canal and outside dock area. The wide lot and long dock gives a spacious feel, Thus, its better than most modular Keys homes which tend to be dim inside during the day and outside often feel cramped being sandwiched in narrow lots. Saul (the owner) keeps everything maintained and is extremely helpful and responsive. He stocks it with everything you could think of. Coffee drinkers will appreciate the expresso maker as well as the typical drip coffee maker. The bedrooms and bathroom are adequate. The master bed is firm which I like. Note the washer/dryer are not inside. The shaded tiki hut is nice to sit under and the long dock is nice to walk along the canal (as opposed to most canal homes with small water frontage). We saw manatees often in the canal along with various fish. The porch is not screened which for us was good since there are few bugs during the FL winter and no screen actually makes a place brighter with an overall better feel. For those that like to paddle, peddleboat (Saul provides both), or motorboat; it’s a short, easy paddle to Sexton Cove which has a nice sunset view, dolphins, manatees, and many birds especially at sunset since they roost there. An advantage is the shoreline makes a big turn so it blocks the wind much of the time unlike many bays in the Keys which have a lot of wind and chop in the winter. The house ramp is easier to use a kayak or peddleboat than trying to get in from a high dock or a ladder like other places have. The canal level does not change much due to tide so its easy to tie a boat. There is ample parking for cars and a boat. Its completely fenced giving it a more secure feeling than most. Plus it has a driveway so you park right next to the entry door. The door lock is automated so you don’t have to worry about who has the keys. Moreover the immediate neighborhood feels very safe and is quiet since there are no through streets. Overall, you will be happy to stay here assuming you like Key Largo.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. Saul was very accommodating, checking to see if we needed anything, and even bring bikes for us to use, along with the kayak and paddle boat. Close to stores, church. House has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and decorated for cute and cozy. If you have a boat, great docking area. Our special treat was seeing manatees! We would definitely stay again! Thanks Saul!

AMAZING, RELAXING AND INCREDIBLY CONVENIENT VACATION PROPERTY

First, I will start with the whole booking process. Saul answered all questions immediately and he refunded our security deposit quickly. This home looks and feels even nicer when arriving in person than the pictures show. It is very clean and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We cooked many meals and we found all dishes, pots and pans, bakeware and storage containers that we could possibly need. Paper towels, some spices, dish soap and cleaning supplies were all provided. The bathroom had plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. The bedrooms were comfortable and had all the linens, hangers and storage space you could possibly need. The living area was spacious and had 2 comfortable sofas. I must say the Direct TV including HBO was the best selection of channels I have had anywhere I have ever stayed in the Keys and the same was available in the master bedroom. As far as the property itself, this home is on a double lot which is completely secured with fence and locks and is in a quiet neighborhood. If you are bringing a boat or jet skis you will feel completely safe leaving your trailer on this property. With the extra wide rolling gate it is extremely easy to back your trailer in. There is also a full length driveway on the opposite side of the home. The 90 feet of dock space gives you a greater sense of privacy while sitting out by the canal. We enjoyed the table and chairs under the tiki hut, the grills, the outside shower and the use of the kayak and paddle boat. It is hard to beat the convenience of this home's location. The private neighborhood boat ramp just around the corner which includes space for you to park your vehicle and trailer while out on the water was the most convenient we have experienced during any of our previous trips to the Keys. The Chevron with marine fuel is simply a few minutes drive and the Winn Dixie, drug stores, bait shops and banks are also only a few minutes away. We tried several local restaurants and had great experiences at all of them. We went to Senior Frijoles, Sharkey's, Shipwrecks and drove to Big Pine Key to eat at No Name Pub. The home and the boat ramp are located on canals that lead to open water within a couple of minutes at idle. We saw dolphins in Blackwater Sound and just had a great experience. We loved our stay and have already booked for October. Do not hesitate to book this property! Thanks Saul

Very clean!

We loved staying here and Saul was so incredibly friendly! He called us to make sure everything was good, and the pictures don’t really reflect how cute the place is! Weve been coming to Key Largo for 3 years and this was by far the best place we’ve stayed. Also the neighbors were very friendly! Great experience all the way around!
