Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else.
Owner was mega helpful as there was a booking issue, but they were easy to get hold of and resolved it on the spot. The place is cute, but quite small. nice hot shower. Close to the railway and one of the zip-worlds. beautiful scenery, no light pollution. Sound of the stream on your doorstep was a win for us, but double glazing is good, so you can cut it out, if it's not for you. The fireplace was stocked, ready for use. Parking is on-road, but there was room for our long-ish car. WiFi and internet was good, if you have to stay connected, as well as phone signal. Note, the small bed is Very soft, probably not suited for an adult. Do bring your own shower soaps etc. and tea/coffee milk. That's normal, but worth noting.
We enjoyed the cottage and the location . Beautiful river right outside the front door. The sound of the raging water was wonderful
Comfortable and clean .
I and my family have really enjoyed our stay here. The place is cozy and with complete amenities that made our stay comfortable. Highly recommended and would definitely rebook it again.
The cottage is in a lovely location overlooking a small river and to the rear of the property a path leads directly on to the hillside. The cottage was clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished, it had everything we needed for our stay. There's plenty to explore locally, and with a car you also have easy access to beaches at Harlech and Porthmadog, and also easy access to the mountains of Snowdonia. This was perfect for a break with my dad and my daughter - so much so we've already booked again for later this year.
