Location was amazing! We could walk everywhere! The apartment was great! And so much better than if we had to share a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful location; right next to Ponte Vecchio. Walking distance to Pitti Palace, Boboli gardens; historical district right across the Arno. Tons of great restaurants and Michelin star restaurant across the street. Lots and lots of cafes in the area. Be careful though some do not list the price and you can be charged tourist prices. The apartment has two bedrooms and baths that are almost identical. Kitchen is suited for tea, cheese and wine but not really for cooking. Small frig and microwave. Elevator in building works well. Remember in Italy, the first floor is floor zero so the third floor will be four floors up. Taxi or walking to the train station both work. If walking, many of the streets are cobblestones so difficult with large bags. Also in high tourist season, walking that distance in Florence will be extremely congested.
We really loved staying at this place in Florence. Location could not have been better (about 1/2 block to the Ponte Vecchio).
Check in was flawless (we notified management when we landed in Florence so they met us at the Apt. We had a slight issue with the key and door lock during our stay which was rectified in about 10 minutes and we were completely satisfied. We would definitely stay here again!
Apartment was in a perfect location! Perfect for 4 people, we only stayed one night but wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Check in process was seamless. Communication was easy.
Nicely decorated and very clean. Kitchen not easy to cook in due to small size. Beds very comfortable. Great lighting, and big windows. Nice shower with rain had and hand held. Great location! Just perfect.

We had a wonderful time thanks to the convenient location of this apartment. We were able to walk to restaurants, well known sites, and along the Arno River with ease. The apartment is modern and lovely. The common space is limited but the bedrooms with bathrooms are comfortably sized.
Everything about this place is wonderful…the location, the apartment’s amenities, the set-up (which is designed perfectly for two couples) and, most especially, the host.
Clean, comfortable, chic apartment in best location the property manager was very attentive and helpful. I would stay here again the next time I go to Florence.
Beautiful and convenient with loud street noise at night
Lovely and recently renovated property that was true to photos. Great sparklingly clean bathrooms. New appliances. Location convenient to everything in a cool part of Florence. Elevator option was great. Only issue was loud street noise at night. Living in the city comes with noise but it was much louder than the previous place we stayed. The windows didn’t keep much sound out, so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. You can hear honking, sirens and yelling between midnight and 7 am. Otherwise, it’s perfect!

Problem with property management software
First of all, the property we booked was beautiful, the problem is that the property management company, Homes in Florence, mishandled our reservation. VRBO tells me that they use a reservation software that placed us in a different property managed by a different management company, Sweetstay Apartments. We were charged a higher rate (my bad for not noticing the charges on my credit card), and were told to meet a greeter at the wrong address. We actually ended up being contacted via WhatsApp by both property management companies and had to drag our luggage through the pouring rain from the wrong apartment to the correct one on the other side of the Arno in Florence. I will be contacting my credit card company to see if they can help claw back the amount we were over charged.
We really loved this place. There were no surprises and the property is exactly as described and pictured!! I traveled with my daughter and son in law so this layout was so perfect for us! Two identical bedrooms and two identical bathrooms separated by the living area/dining/kitchen. The balcony in one bedroom was just adorable and huge window in the other was fabulous. We loved the location right off the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Walking distance to everything. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this place as well. Host was easy to contact and was quick to offer baggage holding info when I could not find one in my app. (it is right around the corner!). Its too bad we didnt stay longer so we could enjoy it more!
This place is great! Better in person even over the nice pictures. Its perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4/5. This apartment has pretty much everything you would need. It was very clean as well. Did i mention the location?? It was perfect. You step out your door and you have shops, markets, garages for car rental storage, restaurants and the ponte vecchio! Its a 7 minute walk to the main piazza in florence. The other couple we were with wished we could have stayed longer we had that much fun. The hosts were nice and very prompt when we arrived. 2 things i will say is the tv is very small and doesnt have a movable mount so if you want to chill after a long day, its not the best. Maybe they can consider upgrading it. Also, we tried to get a later checkout and the hosts never responded. Overall these are very minor issues compared to the amazing time we had. Id recommend this VRBO 10 times out of 10. Cant wait to return!!

Firenze apartment
The place is roomy. Building is older. Neighborhood is really nice, close to many shops.
Requested extra towels and was questioned on why I needed extra towels. Dryer didn’t dry clothes or towels at all.
Overall it was fine.
This is a great place for two couples. Bedroom and bathrooms are similar in size with great kitchen/living space between. Location fabulous. Had a couple of hiccups with the keys, but management worked quickly to resolve our issues. Building has an elevator - big plus! Easy taxi drop off and pick up. Loud street noise at night, to be expected in large city. Bring your own iron. Would stay here again - no doubt!
Great location near Ponte Vecchio with poor A/C and frustrating check-in
I prefer to leave positive feedback, but after several days of consideration I believe others will benefit by know our experience.
The first confusion was who would be our contact when we arrived. I think 3 or 4 people were involved. I contacted Viola when we arrived by train and asked for the property address. She sent a pin and said she would meet us there, so we took a taxi. This pin was for the wrong address and we had to wander about with our luggage. We had to wait another 20 minutes for Viola to arrive and direct us to the correct location. When we told her that the pin was for the wrong address she said, "No, you're wrong." So much for customer service!
By this time we were hot and tired. After showing us the flat, she focused on collecting the city tax, and that was about it. Unfortunately, the A/C units did not work well. One worked moderately, the other did not cool at all. We could not tell much difference in the flat from the hallway (which is not cooled).
The flat has a Nespresso and a clothes washer, but no coffee pods or washing powder. This was a first in my VRBO experience. We bought coffee pods - not a big deal - but detergent? I was left to wonder if someone is keeping the coffee and detergent for themselves.
While the flat was spacious and close to Ponte Vecchio, we will stay elsewhere next time. I hope this helps management improve.
