Wonderful and cozy place to stay. Convenient and safe location with a lovely backyard oasis. Beds were comfortable and our host was friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a perfect place to stay if you don’t mind the shared entrance. The host was very responsive and friendly and gave great tips for places to visit nearby. Loved staying uptown for our visit, it’s a really great neighborhood and right next to Magazine street.
Judy is wonderful and incredibly helpful. The property is very comfortable and has lots of amenities. The location is perfect for accessing both Magazine St and St Charles. Would definitely stay here again!
Our trip to New Orleans was made even better because of the fantastic location and lovely amenities provided. Even after a bit of a snafu to start the trip, the host provided excellent communication and worked diligently to make sure we were comfy and had all of our needs met. Went over and above to share unique local eats across a variety of ages and preferences and provided some great insight about the neighborhood. If you are looking for a relaxing NOLA spot, then look no further. Extra points for quality linens and thoughtful details and touches throughout.
A wonderful and relaxing place to stay for our daughter’s move-in. Everything we needed in a great location, and Judy was attentive and helpful. We will be coming back!
The space was bigger than it looks in the photos, and very comfortable. We were a little wary of the back door being connected to the main house, but there was a large divider set up and we never felt any lack of privacy. The location is fantastic and the price was great. The property has beautiful gardens and Judy is great. Definitely staying here again, and in lived in New Orleans for four years.
We had a great stay in a private and charming 2 floor suite. Perfect location near Magazine street that was filled with great restaurants and shopping. The garden was sweet and lovely in the evening with its lights that looked like fireflys.
There was a gate at the bottom of the stairs that you need to maneuver but it is necessary for the dog (who is very sweet). Thank you Judy for being a gracious host.
We enjoyed our first Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Judy, the owner, was fantastic! Very helpful and pleasant to converse with. She even offered to carry some of our bags in. She kept to herself but if we needed anything, she was right there to assist! Her place is walking distance to the parades routes and street car/bus which we did take to the French Quarter as too far to walk then got an Uber back since the street car and bus was closed that late.
We would highly recommend her place to stay again if in New Orleans.
Judy and her home are lovey. Great location to Magazine Street and the beautiful Garden District. Just be aware that the upstairs living area isn’t closed off by a separate door. This didn’t bother us it was still very private.
The property was very beautiful. Mrs. Judy was one of the best hostess I have ever met. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay at her home comfortable and relaxing!
We had a great time. This was the perfect location for visiting our daughter in college. Judy is wonderful, great at communicating. The space is comfortable and clean. We liked everything about our stay!
This was a wonderful spot in a great location. It was clean, quiet, and cozy, and we were able to walk to tons of great stores and restaurants. Additionally, the trolley to the French Quarter is only minutes away. Judy was a warm, responsive host who was a pleasure to chat with. I would absolutely stay here again!
I heartily recommend this property. My family was in NOLA for a couple days to enjoy the WWII Museum, do a little sight seeing, and eat great food. The property is in a great, safe location for all of these activities. It is also clean and comfortable, with a delightful private garden area. The host was responsive and accommodating, and there were plenty of amenities available to make our stay even more comfortable. Be sure to ask her for restaurant recommendations, as she made some great suggestions for us.
Just one point of clarification from the property description for my fellow introverts--the upstairs area is "private," in that there is a partition at the entry way that blocks off the main house where the stairs are located. However, there is no door/wall that completely closes off the upstairs area. The host absolutely maintains privacy, but you can expect to hear some signs of life occasionally, all at reasonable times.
I'd definitely stay here again.
Judy had a rad place. Location couldn’t be better. Bar a block away has great live music on the weekend and their smash burgers were surprisingly good. Next door to the bar is an awesome brunch spot. Great coffee in walking distance. Super great thrift shopping just other side of Napoleon on Magazine. The place was really comfortable. Super quiet at night with blackout curtains so slept when I wanted no issue. Judy was really friendly and the space had so much attention to detail. Would def stay here again if Judy would have us back!
We had the best trip! House was so cute and the neighborhood was the best! Owners are very sweet and always just a phone call away! We are definitely coming back soon!
I nailed it when I booked this property. It is spacious and beautiful and the location is perfect for everything Uptown. We parked our car and walked everywhere. Judith is wonderful. She responded promptly to our communication and was incredibly helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this property.
