About this property
Summer Fun on Sandy Beach, Warm Water
Located at Port Hood Beach, this bright, clean, well-appointed cottage has white walls, warm pine floors and pine cathedral ceiling. After enjoying a day spent in the warm waters of the sandy beach and a meal cooked on the grill, there is no place better to watch the sunset than from the deck that wraps around the front of the cottage. Long walks on the beach where eagles hover are good for both body and soul. For golf lovers you are 25 minutes from the newly develop golf course in the town of Inverness, called Cabot Links.
'Thank you, we had a very enjoyable time at your cottage. We ate lobster fresh from the docks every day, cooked in your lovely kitchen.' Leslie & Maria Hansfor

The cottage was great and so close to the beach. The boys were thrilled to discover the trucks in the shed. The outdoor shower was a plus. We had a wonderful vacation.
This is our third time staying at Beth’s cottage and every time has been delightful. Such a lovely spot and the cottage is so comfy and well appointed.
Port Hood is a small and lovely community. The cottage is a stones throw from the beach and has everything you need to enjoy your time. The third bed room as a walk through, which isn't the most convenient. And there was little more dog hair than we expected. Over all good value for money - we would go back.
Beautiful cottage, fully equipped, very comfortable beds, gorgeous views of ocean and surroundings. Nice friendly town of Port Hood was a great home base for Celtic Colours festival events.
Excellent vacation! We hope to stay again next summer! Location is excellent. Accommodation was perfect for our family. There are a few repairs but knowing that the owners have been away due to recent restrictions, that is to be expected. We had a fabulous vacation!
We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood.
It was our first time in that area and it is a beautiful town. We loved the bike trails and were also able to find beautiful places to kayak.
The town has everything you need and everyone was very helpful and friendly.
The cottage was beautiful as was the view. It is a short walk to the beach and the weather allowed us to enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer.

Great Rental and Great Owners
Comfortable home right on the beach with incredible sunsets. The owners make this a true home away from home. We would return in a heartbeat.

Absolutely perfect location if visiting Port Hood.
We had a fantastic visit to Port Hood N.S. The beach cottage was exactly as described. Perfect location. Everything needed was available at cottage. Had dinner one night at the Clove Hitch did some shopping at the Co-op supermarket.Got to see a 550 lb tuna landed at the Murphy Pond marina. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks Marty we enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing, homey, peaceful, great views. The home was very well laid out for our family and had all the amenities one would need. Not in a high traffic area, quiet, and perfect views of sunsets every night overlooking the ocean. Could not have asked for anything better. Wife and I agree, we have to go back to this house.

A Slice of heaven
We loved this cottage!! The personnal touches, the decor inside & out make this a special place. We were pleasantly surprised that there was no TV, this certainly added to the disconnect, and the re-connect to nature and each other.
The proximity to awesome scenery, great pubs and restaurants with ceileighs every night made this a vacation to remember. We hope to return...
