About this property
Stableyard Cottage - sea views & parking/garage
Lovely bright open plan living area and a fresh interior with lots of new home comforts and private parking in our courtyard.
Welcoming pubs, cafes and local shops a short stroll away in Marazion. Ideally located to explore beaches on south and north coasts.
The space:
Ideal for a family, couples or a small group of friends, the cottage is part of a Grade II listed stable block that has been beautifully converted into a two bedroom retreat. There are views of the sea from the south facing windows (bedroom 1 and living area), and uniquely for Marazion, private parking in front of the garage in our shared courtyard (more info below).
From the front door, it's a short walk to Marazion beach. Ideal for swimming, bodyboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, and a popular local kitesurfing beach, it's a truly unique spot with the majestic island castle taking centre stage in your view. There are 3 beach cafés and watersports hire/tuition centres on the beach too.
Our calendar is always up to date:
Please send your booking request and I'll reply almost straight away.
From July till end August we run 7 night minimum stays. At other times, 3 night minimum stays. Longer stays welcome too.
Other cottages available:
We have 2 other lovely waterside cottages in Point (between Truro & Falmouth) linked in our profile.
About the cottage:
As you enter the property you walk into the gorgeous vaulted open plan kitchen/diner/living room with everything you could need; new Smeg electric hob and oven, Bialetti moka pot and milk frother for the best coffees, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine.
There are 2 comfy sofas with lots of cushions, a 40 inch TV with the cottage's own Netflix subscription and Superfast Wifi.
There are 2 bedrooms; one with a new kingsize bed and views of St. Michael's Mount, and the other with 2 new single beds.
The bathroom has a shower and WC, and the hallway leads onto the outdoor terrace with seating for al fresco breakfast and dining.
Guest access:
The access lane is traditionally Cornish and narrow with limited turning space, but our large SUV style car or long wheelbase van can fit in fine. There's one allocated parking space for you in front of our garage. Additionally further parking is available in the car parks in Marazion at a reduced weekly rate.
Pets:
Well behaved dogs are welcome and must be mentioned prior to booking. Please keep them off the soft furnishings. There is a dog fee of £50 each per stay.
