Its very close to the city centre, SEC & Hydro as well as both being less than 5 mins to both the M8 and M74.
This ideally located property fits both those with a car and those using public transport. Pollokshields East train station is less than 5 mins walk and the underground station is an 12 min walk away.

The Space:
TThis newly furnished apartment itself offers 5 spacious bedrooms. 3 King bedrooms on the ground floor and on the upper floor we have a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds. All beds will have 2000 spring mattresses and crisp white Egyptian cotton bedlinen to give you a restful sleep after a long day discovering the city. Each room has plenty wardrobe space and a seat to have you morning coffee at and read your papers.

The spacious Living/Dining room is beautifully furnished with a comfortable L shaped sofa and accent chairs, a large 55" smart TV loaded with all your favourite channels. Perfect for watching Netflix on a rainy day. There is also a huge 10 seater dining table , perfect for those family dinners.

The large kitchen has 2 stoves, a washing machine and is equipped with crockery, cutlery, cookware, serveware, glassware, large fridge freezer, a children's dining set and a 6 seater dining table. When you tire with all the wonderful restaurants and bars that Glasgow has to offer, you can rustle up a meal in the comfortable surroundings of this apartment.

There are 2 good sized bathrooms, one on the ground floor and the other on the upper so there'll be no queuing in the mornings.

The whole apartment has beautiful, warm wooden flooring throughout and has central heating.

A travel cot is available upon request (free).

The full apartment is available to the guests.

The Neighborhood:
Located in Pollokshields, you have the best of both worlds. Close enough to City Centre but without all the noise and madness. If driving, it takes only 5 mins to get onto both the M8, M77 and M74, Glasgow's main motorways.

There are lots of cafes, diners and take ways and within a 10-15 min walk you have Strathbungo and Shawlands both of which have a plethora of restaurants and bars. There is a convenience store within a minute's walk of the apartment and a sainsbury's Local a 10 min walk away.

Getting Around:
5 min walk to Pollokshields Est train station which will take you into Glasgow central within 5 mins. Trains run every 16 mins.

A 12 min walk to Sheilds Rd Subway will take into the town centre within 9 mins. the Subway trains run every 6 mins.

The numbers 121, 59 and 90 buses will take you across Glasgow and run regularly

You can also make use of the affordable taxis and Uber, particularly if you are carrying heavy bags. If you would like to travel in a healthy and fun way consider renting out a bike and travelling via the various bike routes available.

An excellent apartment
A really lovely experience. The flat is close to several modes of pubic transit, and the neighborhood is delightful, with a lot of good food and little shops (similar to bodegas) close. Highlight: the mango seller! We bought so many mangos from him. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Suzy responded to all messages very quickly too.

Things that make you go hmmmm....
This has obviously been recently redone for short-term stay, but everything is very make-shift and veneer fixes. Granted it is an older space, but the first thing would be to just clean up the entrance. The stairwell and entrance is truly back alley dirty and gross. We weren't in the place much, but there is no dryer to that washer, mice live in the kitchen and there is a horrible odor in the top room with the two twin beds. I liked the neighborhood and the price was right, but definitely does not quite match the photos in any quality beyond the hard wood floors.

The apartment is ideal for large families - was spotless and very well equipped. The rooms were large and airy and there was lots of space to move around. Check in was seamless and Suzy the host was immediately responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely consider returning. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Nice flat for groups
We rented this property for a week away with family. It was clean and looked to have been recently renovated. Everything seemed to work as expected, although a dishwasher would have been good for our big group. Chairs in the kitchen were a bit precarious - slipped over a few time as the floors are quite slippery but nothing major. It was a nice looking flat but the area didn’t feel overly safe - wouldn’t have wanted to walk far from the flat. Have to drive through an industrial area to get to the residential bit where there were a lot of broken windows and things looking very worn down, although rubbish collectors on strike probably didn’t help.
