To the outside is a private patio with furniture, communal lawned gardens and ample off-road parking. Herons Reach is a charming base from which to explore all the delights of North Yorkshire.

There is also a picturesque harbour, numerous safe, sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by its famous 199 Steps.
