The Ridgeway, Uffington

An enjoyable stay during a visit to our daughter and her family at nearby Faringdon. Uffington is a very pretty village with lots of thatched houses and a very good community general store. The Hut was very clean and neat but, as is inevitable in a shepherd's hut, was suited to shorter and slimmer visitors than those taller and more rotund, as space is limited. The bed, while comfortable, was a challenge for those who need to get up in the night to use the loo! However, The Ridgeway suited our purpose admirably and we would certainly stay again.
