Trastevere Location
Overall the apt is as advertised. Very quiet even though you are in the heart of Trastavere with people and vehicles. Plenty of space. The only issue we had was difficulty operating the heat and AC. Sometime the units were unresponsive. I would stay here again. Thanks Andrea for all the recommendations.

A great apartment in Rome
We had a lovely stay at this apartment. The location was perfect, with a great choice of restaurants and in an interesting area to walk in. Andrea was the perfect host, meeting us to check in early and offering suggestions about the whole area. Easy to get to all the sights of Rome for sightseeing. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definately recommend this property to others.

Great Location
We spent 2 weeks in the apartment and found it to be a terrific location. One of the city’s best pizza spots, Dar Poeta is right around the corner and Ponte Sisto is also very close. From there you can walk anywhere is the city. We closed the door separating the entrance hall from the main part of the apartment and never heard a sound from the street. All the rooms are very spacious and the split ac units really kept it pleasantly cool. We sat on the little atrium and enjoyed that. There isn’t a dryer but we managed to dry clothes on the dryer rack. The only recommendation I would make is to fix or repair the shower hose in the bathroom. The only way we could avoid flooding was to sit in the tub with the shower head facing down and turned on lightly.

Tout était plus que parfait. La location en plein milieu des rues piétonnes. Et que dire de la beauté et de la grandeur de l'appart. Et Andrea est un hôte plus que parfait aussi. J'y suis restée que 3 jours, avoir su j'aurais réservé pour au moins 5 jours.

Trastevere retreat
An apartment that is clean and spacious right in the center of all the action in Trastevere, yet quiet and tranquil too. The space was enough for 4 adults (some on sleep sofas) and a child. We could have used some more bathroom love. But the overall layout of the apartment and the little interior "outdoor" patio space was great. The location could not be beat. We would return.

Just got back from Rome and loved everything about Andreas place. The bed was excellent and in the back of the unit. This makes it very quiet late in the evening when the street comes alive. The unit has all that you could need. The location is fantastic and very exciting. All the food places you need. Special shout out to Andrea who was very responsive and even booked drivers coming and going. Thank you!

The property is beautiful, clean and well-equipped with everything you'd need. It's in a great location in Trastevere, close enough to the bustle without all the noise. The hosts were lovely and always available when needed. Would stay again!

Great place in a good central location.
The apartment was as described. You are in the middle of the city and so as others have said there are a few street noises, but you do not hear anything from the bedroom. If I was to give a slight negative it would be the shower which is more of a drenching than a shower - it needs a new shower head. But very centrally located to explore Rome and Andrea was a fantastic host who went the extra mile to assist us. We would happily stay there again.

Great time in Rome
We had a wonderful time at Andreas’ apartment. Even though the street is busy, it was quiet and lovely inside. The place was very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the sights. The neighborhood was busy and hectic but the street was pedestrian mist of the time and it felt like a true Roman experience. Andreas was accessible and extremely helpful, giving us dinner recommendations and helping organize our transfer to the airport. We would stay here again.

In the heart of the activity!
The apartment is beautiful - on the ground level with one bedroom. The sofa bed is very comfortable, though! It is surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of lots of activity. VERY short walk to restaurants and shops.

Outstanding Property
This is an outstanding property where we had a marvelous two week stay. We wanted a ground floor apartment with close restaurants because of our mobility issues. The apartment is beautifully decorated in a tasteful and charming way, and really qualifies as classy. It has wonderful restaurants literally outside the front door. Our favorite was Da Massi which is actually next door, with exquisite fresh pastas. This apartment also has a sleek modern kitchen where you can cook,your own food. The modern vibe sits comfortably with oriental rugs in the living room space along with older touches that will remind you you are in an historic building. Of course if you are attracted to older buildings will be prepared for the old building scent which is pretty common in Italy, especially on the ground floor. It gets a bit stronger if it is raining a lot. Another issue, which is important to people with mobility issues is the behemoth bathtub which is a challenge to get in and out of. No way to sugar coat this annoyance, or the fact that when you sit on the toilet your body will be partly under the sink. But you will also appreciate that very solid sink because it is what will allow you a strong fixed point to get in and out of the bathtub and also onto the toilet. But we managed to to navigate these annoyances safely for two weeks so that speaks for itself. Also the fact we managed the long schlep from the bedroom in back to the bathroom in front, and the rather high step up to get back into the bedroom. Yet when you balance these mobility issues with the fact that great places to eat are so close you will likely conclude that this property is STILL a winner from the mobility perspective. In addition the host and owner Andrea was a very lovely guy and was so,eager to help, it was really touching. In sum, this place has much more going for it than the few problems it has, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

The best place to stay in trendy Trastevere!
Beautiful, beautiful, rental property in lively Trastevere. We loved every minute of our stay at Andrea's property. It was gorgeous and after two long, and delayed, flights from Los Angeles, he had large bottles of water in the frig waiting for us. So very appreciated. The weather was a little too humid for us so every time we needed a break, we were able to pop back into our rental and relax a bit. This first floor rental also had a second door in the entryway which, when closed, blocked out the street noise. Because one of our flights was delayed a long time, there was some miscommunication with his driver to pick us up at the airport in Rome (hence the 4 stars.) Really not his fault. Thank you so much for providing this lovely rental for us, Andrea.

Great apt in the heart of Trastevere
This is a really cute apt. right in the middle of Trastavere - just a steps away from restaurants, gelato and shops. Andrea was a great host - helped us with parking and luggage, had the sofabed turned down for us and gave recommendations to eat (Tonnarello was great!). There was a lot of activity outside, but the apt was well insulated, so it felt like an oasis once the door was closed. Thanks for a great stay!

A little oasis in the heart of lively Trastavere
When you get to this apartment you're going to think "oh no, what have I done? It's going to be so loud... " And then you step inside and everything is so peaceful. The apartment layout is such that you have a little foyer, with a door that blocks out most of the street noise, and then the bedroom is way in the back. You'll honestly forget that you are right in the middle of a very happening neighborhood. It's an easy walk to all of the Travestere restaurants and the bridge over to all of the major sites. There's good bus access as well. Andrea the host is wonderful. There was a double-booking mixup for the first day of our stay, but he was super apologetic, booked us into a beautiful hotel nearby, and met us the next morning to drop off our luggage/get keys so it was barely a blip. He also recommended a bunch of fantastic restaurants and helped us book a car for our stupidly early flight. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Excellent stay right in the heart of the Trastevere
Beautiful apartment in a great location! Literally steps from cafes, bars and shops. The Vatican and many of the major sites were all very walkable. The rental was clean, comfortable and came with advertised amenities. Andrea was a great host who shared some excellent local information. Thanks for a great stay!
