I'm an Avid Traveller, having visited far flung idyllic locations around the world.
Why they chose this property
This property is wonderful for it's location. It has the benefit of being close enough to the city centre with its selection of eateries, unique shops, large shopping centre and historical sights whilst also offering a great base for visiting quaint villages like Tissington, Ashbourne and exploring the Peak District. If like me, you enjoy being around nature, be it a leisurely walk or something more adventurous like rock climbing or abseiling, all of these are accessible. Furthermore the locals are wonderful, friendly and accommodating.
What makes this property unique
I love how the house has a modern feel whilst retaining original period features, such as original coving and the exposed brickwork of one of the fireplaces. The house also is flooded with natural light from large double glazed windows. Furthermore the house is on a quiet road ensuring a good nights sleep. The kitchen offers modern appliances including a fridge freezer, washing machine with quick wash function, microwave, oven, hob, extractor, there is a kettle and toaster too. The long breakfast bar has 4 colour matched gas lift stools and the worktop has multiple USB sockets making charging whilst have a bite to eat a breeze.
There is a long garden with a wildlife pond. Outside the kitchen is a small grassed area with a table and two chairs. If it's a clear night, i recommend staring at the night sky. Unlike larger cities such as London, the sky at night is unpolluted making it easier to see stars.
Close to the house are local convenience stores including a CO-OP local, offering quality essentials and food to go. If you enjoy Fish and Chips I highly recommend the nearby Markeaton Fish Bar run by a local gentleman named Mick. This is without a doubt one of the cleanest and tastiest fish bars known.
