Why they chose this property
The Park is a private estate that feels like an oasis of calm in a bustling city. Nottingham Castle is a 2-minute walk away, next to the oldest pub in England (Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem) and the famous Robin Hood statue, and the UK's newest Michelin starred restaurant (Alchemila) is also walking distance (I highly recommend it). There is an excellent pub nearby called The Sir John Borlase Warren which has Nottingham's largest gin collection and often live music. Wollaton Park (home to lots of deer and Batman's house) is a 10/15 minute drive and the river Trent is 3 miles away. Market Square and all the main shops, bars and restaurants are on your doorstep.
Nearly everything is within walking distance but there is also a handy bus stop a few hundred yards away at the top of the road and the main tram stop is only a 5 minute walk.
