About this property
A Jacobean 1700 century Castle
The Castle is set in over seventeen acres of gardens, woodland and open land. Laden with decadent features, from the sweeping main staircase, a dungeon spanning the palatial base of the castle, with 11 beautifully decorated bedrooms. Large enough to be stately, small enough to be intimate, and one of England’s most exceptional properties.
The castle will also benefit from a self serving professional bar in the dungeon and an outdoor hot tub and sauna.

Lovely relaxing few days spent here. The castle is amazing, the hot tub and sauna were nice additions. We all had a great time (14 of us) having a murder mystery dinner.
We hired this venue to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary with friends and family. The castle is amazing, plenty of space to spread out and great facilities. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the local caretaker couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. The food hamper was a lovely touch and we all had an amazing stay.
Wonderful, grand, welcoming place. We used this as the setting of a team meeting to build our relationships, objective complete! The setting really brought everyone together with space for everyone to be involved.
A packed agenda during the day, relaxing together cooking regional dishes in the evening, then games in the cellar in the later evening.
This place is so versatile in amazing surroundings, i would definitely recommend for a group booking.
