Everything was nice except for……..

We had a great time but however, every single 120v receptacle needs to be replaced! They either don’t work or they are so worn that your plug-in devices won’t snuggly fit and fall out! Due to this, it makes your plug heat up which will eventually cause a bigger issue for the condo and visitors devices.

Wonderful stay, property was great

The condo was in great shape very clean. The property was well maintained and there was plenty of parking. However, one negative thing was that the beach services manager who was in charge of implementing and enforcing the rented beach chairs was not willing to correct a problem that we experienced. There is a rule that restricts people from using their personal beach chairs in front of the front row of rented beach chairs, presumably so that the front row of paying customers do not have an obstructed view of the ocean. We saw this being enforced a couple of days before we had our problem. There was one day where 5 women decided to sit in front of our beach chairs right at the water's edge and when it was reported, we were told that because the people right beside us in the front row of rented chairs said they didn't mind them being there, then they were allowed to stay...even though WE didn't want them there! So, essentially the beach services manager decided that someone else's rights were more important than ours. Very disappointing and made what would have otherwise been a flawless vacation into something that left us with a bad experience. They should have a system implemented that accounts for this type of occurrence and is fair to all.

Wonderful beach stay

Decor is very inviting. Slight musty smell but didn’t affect my stay. Beach views and access were just what I wanted. Bed in second bedroom could use some work. I think the 9 a:m checkout is ridiculous and would end my stay the day before.

Destin stay

Everything was as stated. The balcony view was amazing. We would sit out on it in the mornings and watch the dolphins. The pool area was very nice and relaxing. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. If we ever go back to Destin we will check to see if this is available. Also, the management company responds immediately to any questions before and during the stay.

"Ready for a New Do"

The condo is in need of thorough cleaning. The shelves and pantry are sticky dirty. The master bedroom had no bed skirt on the bed so the ugly bedframe showed from every angle. The mattresses need replacing. Decorations are very tired. The love seat was stained and so were the cushions. The blinds on the patio doors need to replaced. If you touched them more slats fell out. The dining table was also very tired. The beach front and pool are great and the location is good.

Anniversary Paradise

This property was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the privacy of the balcony each morning watching the dolphins swim by. The condo itself was clean and very homey. It was fully furnished with everything you would need in a home away from home. That being said I want to say thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of heaven by the sea.

Good location, poorly cleaned

The unit was just okay. The room was not well cleaned: mildew on the shower curtain, half empty water bottle & paper trash on the closet floor, tub poorly cleaned. In addition, there was high humidity in the room (even though the A/C ran the whole time). Clothes felt damp. The location was good, check-in was easy, parking was good.

Very Nice Getaway!

My husband and I took a short getaway to Destin, FL. The Emerald Towers' condo was very nice, clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable and very relaxing. We will definitely be going back very soon I hope.

There was mold/mildew on the furniture. Tiles were falling off the wall. The dryer tore up our clothes. We couldn’t bring our canopy on the beach. Had to pay daily rate for shade ($32.00/day). We have stayed at several condos throughout the year and this condo was nowhere near satisfactory.

A room with a view!

Loved the room and the view. 7th floor was just the right height for a breath taking view from our balcony. My only complaint is the beach guys would not let me set up my own little umbrella. They make you rent theirs if you want one!

Perfect Location and Well Stocked

Dealing with the rental management company was a pain. Dealing with the on-site front desk was amazing. If you need any information about the location, rental of equipment, etc contact the building front desk, they are SUPER helpful. You cannot put up your own tent/umbrella at this location. You have to use the beach service. Well, you can use your own stuff after 5pm when the beach service takes down their stuff... The pool was great, the beach was amazing, and the location of this place is perfect for getting groceries, restaurants, delivery, fresh seafood, or souvenirs. Overall this place was great. We will probably look at other places in the future though. The ice maker does/did not work while we were there and they provided 2 ice trays... they does not cut it for a cooler on the beach... it would be nice if the condo or the building had ice available. We talked to another family that said their unit had an ice maker in their room! This would be an amazing addition to this unit. :)
