Cities such as Aachen, Heerlen and Sittard can be reached within 30 minutes and a visit to GaiaZoo in Kerkrade, Snowworld and Mondo Verde in Landgraaf and Wildpark Gangelt in Gangelt of the same name is also worth a visit.
