This property was so damp it stank the bed was wet with damp. There was black mold in the shower. It was not clean cobwebs everywhere. Two beds were not made. My wife fell in the shower and was covered in bruises because the shower tray was so slippery. I am in the process of reporting this to local authorities because even the light switches weren’t up to code. I expect a full refund from this place

Great location.
Bad points are, it was very damp, very strong damp, musty smell, had to keep the windows open. There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere, the oven was dirty. The good points are, lovely new beds, beautiful gardens and great location.
We stayed here over Christmas and enjoyed the good size and good heating the house has to offer. It was very comfortable for a family of two adults and two kids. The hosts even put a little xmas tree in the living room for us!
The house itself is a bit old fashioned in its decor and fittings but the location is excellent, being close enough to the heart of the Forst to walk but also close enough to town to walk there and back also.
We missed a microwave in the kitchen and be aware that the adress supplied after booking does not match with the address on Google Maps!
We were here for holidays. We enjoyed the forest for long walks and the landscape of this region. We (and also our dog) liked the garden.
We enjoyed our stay.
This home is cosy and convenient, with all the things you need to make your stay enjoyable. You can walk to town and the forest, and there is a lovely rural view.
